Host where helpful and welcomed us with cake. Nice touch. Location was stunning and locals were helpful friendly couldn't ask for more had everything we needed and more 2 big double rooms ..heating electrics all work was clean and very much will be returning fantastic stay highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike more hand towels and window bit rattled but not to much a bother.

Close to the river, very easy to access the river side path. Short driving distance to the places we wanted to visit: Bodnant Gardens and Swallow Falls. Near to shops, takeaways etc, which we wanted for ease. Reasonable value for money. Right amount of space - not squashed but not too spacious.
Doesn't have specified parking for the property, which is to be expected with the location, but something which required a little consideration whilst on our break. The microwave didn't work but this wasn't a hindrance to us as we used the hob instead. The shower was difficult to operate.

The property is decorated nicely and is about 30 minutes from major Snowdonia sights. Shops are nearby.
When booking, it said there was parking for the property- this is not the case. There is 6pm-6am parking in the square below which is quite inconvenient or a car park 5 minutes walk away which is £6.50 for 24 hours. If the parking situation has changed between booking and the time of arrival, we, as the customer, should have been informed. The property is not the lovely quaint old building by the river (as per main photo) but instead a building above a village square; with about 3 pubs that were open until 2am each night, there was a lot of outside noise (and not ideal for a noise reactive dog!). The instructions to find the property were very poor and resulted in me having to phone the owner. There was also no black out curtains in the bedrooms so lots of light would come in in the early hours. Toiletries like hand soap, were running very low, as well as apartment basics like salt in the kitchen. We also went to set up the sofa bed and noticed a lot of dirt/debris underneath. I don't think that the property was bad value but wish that the information was more honest when advertising.
