Our second time visiting this cute cosy comfortable and relaxing cottage. Well equiped for our needs. Good parking. Great location for us to explore our favourite hikes and discover new ones. Good communication with host. Thank you for a lovely stay. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Bed was unfortunately too small for my 6ft3 partner, which led to a few sleepless nights
Baking trays in oven were dirty and, when washed with a kitchen cloth, left a lot of black, oily residue on the cloth.
Dusty behind the sofa and beds - requires more of a thorough clean.

Great location in a beautiful, quaint little village. Walks from the door. Steam train runs along the end of the garden. Waterfall, dam, lakes and cafe all within easy walking distance.
Well-equipped kitchen with brew stuff provided and lots of lovely little extras. Games and books provided for rainy days. Fantastic log burner to get cosy in the evenings.
This is an old, characterful property, but unfortunately that also means it’s very dark and dingy. There appears to be a bit of a damp problem, as the fusty/mouldy smell is pretty awful, particularly downstairs. I didn’t really like eating my meals there, because of the smell, and it’s not somewhere I looked forward to going back to at the end of the day, I’m afraid.
