About this cabin rental
Enjoy a relaxing break in this cosy, Norwegian style log cabin situated on a holiday village within the Snowdonia National Park overlooking the Rhinog mountain range. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. There is no WiFi at the cabin, but you won't be totally cut off as the area has excellent mobile phone coverage and there is a free WiFi area at the reception/shop.
The cabin is 4 berth and is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms (one double bed and bunk beds). A travel cot will not fit in the bedrooms but can be placed in the living room area and can be provided on request. There is an open plan lounge/kitchen, which has microwave, electric cooker, fridge, crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils, colour TV, DVD and Sky Freeview. The bathroom has a wash basin, toilet, shower and heated towel rail. There is a large secure decking area outside with table, chairs and BBQ, which makes it ideal for people with dogs. There is parking for 2 cars. Pillows and quilts are provided but you will need to bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels with you.
Well behaved pets are welcome absolutely free. Electricity is included in the price. On the holiday village is a cafe/bistro, convenience store, launderette and children's outdoor play area.
Cadair Idris mountain is to the south and Snowdon is to the North. The surrounding area offers something for everyone, whether it's high adventure, enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside or some simple family fun. The cabin is a great place to explore what the area has to offer and after a fun filled day enjoy al fresco dining on the large decking area and watch the sun go down over the Rhinog mountains.

The cabin was well equipped with everything you would need. The host was reachable if any problems. The area was nice and quiet. The only negative is that it is miles away from supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. There is not regular buses or taxi services nearby.

Loved this property, great location, nice and peaceful.Has everything you need and took our dog too.Very good value for money.Will definitely come stay again.

The view was spectacular, especially as there was a moorland fire opposite one night which glowed for a few hours. The night sky was also spectacular. I haven;t seen so many stars and planets for decades. It was worth visiting for that alone. Very well organised for dogs especially the deck. Lovely and warm and cosy and heating easy to use. Needs instructions for the cooker though, Drive along the road going up the hill at the back of the village if you like remoteness. You really are in the middle of nowhere. Harlech beach as beautiful as ever and Plas Cafe in Harlech a great viewpoint, Will be back

Liz is a very helpful host who tries to resolve issues at source. The cabin is lovely, clean warm and welcoming has everything inside that you could need.
