Eryri Retreat

Very nice location with beautiful peacocks 🦚 — we absolutely loved seeing them! The lodge was very comfortable and cosy, as well as clean and tidy. We stayed at the same holiday village, different lodge last year. Unfortunately, we didn’t have Wi-Fi in our previous lodge and the mobile signal was also very poor. However, the Wi-Fi in this lodge worked very well, which was a big improvement. The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed. We also loved seeing the horses around the lodge. The living room was lovely and bright, with plenty of sunshine coming in. The only small issue was that sometimes the water pressure from the tap became low when someone was using the other toilet or the kitchen tap, but we managed without any major problems. Overall, we loved the lodge and the location and would highly recommend it!

Lovely location in the snowdonia national park, and very quiet. Far enough from the road that no traffic could be heard, and each lodge was very private and had outdoor space for sitting/barbecues. Quick to respond to messages and answer any queries in great detail. Almost spotless lodge with plenty of space to sleep and sit.

The WiFi was very poor and the TV kept cutting out (although this may have been down to the football being on). The only cleanliness issue was The shower drain was blocked with hair. Another serving bowl in the kitchen would be ideal as we had to use a pan. A map to locate the lodge that accompanies the initial written instructions would be beneficial

Great location, plenty of space to park the car, house had everything what we needed, it was very clean and the view was amazing. Very quiet area.

We were driving with the conviction that there would be poor network and no Wi-Fi(no internet access in the property description), but it turned out there was a decent network connection and a Wi-Fi router. That turned out to be a pleasant surprise, given that we had to respond to quite urgent work-related emails.

- We arrived at night and should have downloaded the cabin map, but we did not. And it took us around 25-30 mins to find our cabin. It's quite tricky to find the correct one even after following the map posted at the reception/shop window, but we eventually did find ours. With that, it would be wonderful to have more signs around the area, given that by default its' self check in, not via reception - bunk bed is perfect for children, not for adult men, especially if you're 180+. A bed in the cabin would fit well for a couple +2 children, but for 3/4 adults it will get a bit discomfy. - unfortunately, the cabin does not have an air conditioner, and we've visited the village during a heatwave, when I assume the average temperature is even closer to midnight was higher than 25+, especially closer to the roof, on the 2nd floor of the bunk bed. - at first we were happy that there were no mosquitoes, but then we realized there were still plenty of midges, leaving quite visible and painful bites. Would have to bring some spray for sure
