Nel cuore dei Sassi, posizione strategica. La signora Ida è l’anima della struttura: con i suoi consigli renderà perfetto il vostro soggiorno a Matera.
Tenendo presente che ho prenotato una camera deluxe, Il bagno è molto piccolo e un po’ scomodo: manca il bidet e il lavandino è all’interno della doccia

Lovely apt we were so happy to stay. Very comfortable and Ida was the perfect host. Very helpful with directions and going out of her way to help us with evening parking in the ZTL.
Be mindful that visiting Matera has a lot of stairs and cobblestone paths. The apt and bedroom has steep stairs as well. Just FYI but well worth it, awesome views of the Stassi.

The location is perfect as it is in the middle of the old town of matera. Easy to find with the location you sent us.
The owner was nice and friendlly
- Terrace is not part of the common area, is part of the private house of the owner, which she was nice and let us use it. But its not as adverticed in the comments. We didn't have keys to enter and use it for sunrise as we planned when booked as we had to message the owner to let us in.
- We got a different room than the one we booked, we tried to explain in italian and that we thought the terrace was ours (also in the booking said our room had a terrace) no room has terrace. We would have never spent so much money on a room with no balcony as it was the only reason we booked it. We didn't ask for our money back and open a claim on booking because they let us use the balcony (even if its suppposed to be shared which means not private) and use the linen cloth for our photos and the family was nice and kind.
- Very expensive
- We got the cave room by mistake, which when we booked it it was 45$ cheaper than the one we booked but after we have checked during summer months is a lot more expensive.
- I would just change in the information about the terrace and explain better it is NOT common space as we didn't have keys to enter and the owner of the house let us use while she was in the living room.
