We loved the house layout, the décor, and the location. The host was very thoughtful — they left pandoro and prosecco for us and shared many helpful tips.
We were hoping to use the jacuzzi even in December, but unfortunately it was unavailable during our stay. This wasn’t very clear from the property description, so it was a bit disappointing.

Location was excellent, hidden away from the crowds but close to the Basilica and Piazza Duomo. In fact, a museum and entrance to the cathedral is very close to the accommodation. Not far from a great bakery too.
Love Matera, and the apartment was gorgeous and well appointed. I would highly recommend. Just like most other places in hilltop towns, there is a flight of stairs to get to apartment.
Nothing could be done about this, but the main terrace was adjoining the main bedroom, and as we were in the bedroom upstairs, we didn’t use the main terrace much, as our friends were in the main bedroom. There is also a terrace upstairs, with a hot tub (need to reserve) and great view. Perhaps there could be a table and chairs on the upstairs terrace too, to enjoy a glass of vino. Otherwise, all great.

The location and the view were both amazing but also the quality of the accommodations were excellent
I literally have no complaints. We are definitely going back to Matera and we will definitely stay here again
