Bruna was in contact before arrival with restaurant tips and information. Leonardo picked me up from the bus drop point, drove me to the apartment and (poor guy) carried my heavy bag upstairs. I met Bruna at the apartment where she showed me through and all I could think was Wow! The location, the size, the vaulted ceilings and the snacks she has stocked it with!! The space is beautiful, well appointed, modern and spotlessly clean. I’ve been travelling for 2 weeks so far and this is by far the best accommodation I’ve stayed in. For all of the above reasons. Their generosity has even extended to dropping me back at the bus station at the end of my stay. Excellent value for money. Above and beyond! If I could rate it 10 stars I would! There is nothing not to like!

Our stay at this oversized apartment in Matera was absolutely wonderful! The location couldn’t have been better—perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful historic center while still being peaceful and convenient. The apartment itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and it was clear that a lot of care had gone into making it welcoming for guests. What truly made our experience exceptional were the hosts. They were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, always available with recommendations and ensuring that everything was perfect throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Matera and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this amazing city. We would happily stay here again!

The hosts were incredibly welcoming! They met us on the street, carried our bags upstairs and helped us find a car park. The apartment has a huge bedroom, comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the tree lined street and lovely old church. The doors to the balcony are double glazed making for a quiet, undisturbed sleep. The lounge is even bigger than the bedroom and the full kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. The bathroom is very modern with a superb, walk-in rain shower. Walk out the front door and you are 50m from the pedestrian zone of the old town. Checkin and check out was very easy and hassle free. Absolutely loved our stay!

The hosts Bruna & Leonardo make all the difference in staying in Matera. They are fantastic! Upon arrival, they helped with the luggage & to find parking, which is not that easy. The apt is well equipped & really well located right next to the pedestrian zone, very close to cafés & restaurants. After finding parking, Leonardo took us on a personal walking city tour that was fascinating with insider's knowledge of the city he adores. Walking into the sunset in the amazing city of Matera was like a dream. Bruna helped us with all our dinner reservations during the 3 days we stayed. They are so welcoming, truly the best hosts!

It would have been nice to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom to help get the eyeliner on right for us oldies! But really not a problem.
