Reasonable stay in Liechtenstein’s ski village.

Good location in Malbun and lots of parking. Quiet area of Liechtenstein. Restaurant was nice and food was tasty. Reasonably priced in CHF.

The room could have been cleaned a bit better and it had a bit of a stuffy smell. Bed was hard. Otherwise was fine.

Beautiful modern hotel, with great staff, and a secluded scenic valley. A real gem.

Rooms were beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Clean, modern, and quiet. Special thanks to the front desk receptionist who noticed it was my birthday when we checked in, and told the hotel restaurant who surprised me with complimentary cake and champagne. Such a thoughtful touch and incredible attention to detail!

Disappointing stay. I would look elsewhere.

Not a ton. Location is good, being close to a bunch of hiking trails and to Malbun. Otherwise, see below...

Pretty poor experience overall. I'm not familiar with other hotels in the area, but compared to hotels of a similar price/supposed quality elsewhere, this place definitely misses the mark. The rooms are pretty bare bones and dated, scuff marks on the floor, weird holes and marks all over the ceiling...similar to a dingy motel. There is also no a/c, so you have to keep the window open (even when it's cold, the room gets very stuffy)...of course, the window has no screen, so you end up sleeping with dozens of flies and other random little insects. The wellness area also could use some work. One of the 3 sauna rooms is broken, the "gym" consists of a few random, scattered weights and an elliptical machine that looks like it's from the 1980s. Perhaps this hotel is a good choice for families--there is a kid play area and lots of kids around--but I have to imagine there would still be better choices. Also, kid friendly or not, it seems inappropriate for children to be screaming up and down the hallways at 8-9am. Finally, there is a buffet-style breakfast everyday until 10:30am that is nice enough. Included is one of those self-serve coffee machines. On the day of our checkout, my wife had already eaten breakfast and was hanging out in the lobby waiting for our departure bus (I was up in the room still). Around 11am, she went and got a coffee, where she was immediately confronted by an employee telling her that it was against the rules to have coffee after 10:30am and that if anyone found out, "it wouldn't be good." What an absolutely preposterous thing to say to a guest who had just spent about $500 staying at a rundown hotel in need of major repairs/upgrades. At any reasonable accommodation, a self-serve coffee machine would be available at any time, and even if it technically wasn't, confronting a guest about pouring their own cappuccino is beyond the pale.

Great hotel in an amazing area

Excellent location, very well maintained and first class service. Stayed in many hotels in the area and payed more than double the price I ended paying at the Malbun Jufa. The Jufa is far superior to all of them. I highly recommend the place.

JUFA is a wonderful hotel to stay while you are in Malbun!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The facility and meals were excellent! We would recommend JUFA and stay again when we are in Malbun!

Lovely ski resort- even in the off season!

Room was huge and lovely, the lobby/restaurant/outdoor area matches it, breakfast was varied and delicious, the parking is fantastic, and the tranquility is transcendent. Easy access to hiking in the mountains and a beautiful town area.

Ski resort in an expansive country, so food is limited to what the restaurant can offer on site. Remember that the country uses CHF, not EUR!

OK but spoilt by a terrible dinner

The property was good and in a good location. Breakfast was good

The dinner was by a wide margin the worst we experienced in 15 days crossing Europe. In was the second most expensive and complete rubbish. A massive plate of thin cut supermarket French Fries had the two main course dumped on top. Cutting these caused the tasteless plate contents to spill onto the table cloth. Only one cheap white wine by the glass. It was genuinely the worst meal we have had in years. I think the kitchen staff must have been between season temps.

Winter location semms to be very good. For our summer stay it's a littlebit outside of Malbun. 5-10mins. Still okay though. The beds were also okay, but we would have preferred some softer beds. Overall for a three star hotel it is still very good!

Nice modern hotel with sauna, a very good breakfast, free parking and located high in the mountains.

Exceptional service, great location. various choice at breakfast, sauna on-premises, free parking. We had wonderful couple of summer nights with our daughter here. There's a hiking track for kids in Malbun with additional quests (requested at Tourist info desk in Malbun). A small evening activity in the kids club in the hotel. The hotel staff was very kind and willing to help. The beds were very comfy so we had restorative nights. Our 9-years old daughter didn't want to leave and named the hotel "the best she has ever visited in her life" :)

Great playgrounds

The breakfast spread was nice. We chose to eat dinner at other locations. The room was a decent size for our family of five. My 8-year-old enjoyed the top bunk above my husband and my bed. My 8 year old and 12 year really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor play spaces. The hotel is located in a great area. We could walk to all the hiking trails, grocery, little shops, and the coffee vending machine in the village was bonus.

We just wish they had a few more amenities in the room. We would have enjoyed a water kettle in the morning to have tea and coffee before breakfast hours.

Surpassed our expectations

The hotel surpassed our expectations. Good food, excellent staff. They had an amazing playroom (with climbing wall, nets, different levels) next to the restaurant which meant both parents and other guests could enjoy their meals with very little noise. The staff was amazing I can’t recommend this enough. Also Malbun has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Superb location, lovely meals and friendly staff

We were very impressed with the lovely Bircher Benner muesli every morning for breakfast. However, the scrambled egg and bacon could do with being kept hotter under a metal cover to avoid being luke warm in temperature. Most of time the evening meal was nice and some of the time even delicious!

There wasn’t anything we were unhappy about regarding our stay at the hotel.

Very clean and user friendly. Great kids programming. location next to the base of the main lifts was great.

Food was only OK. I got charged the same rate for one adult and one child as I would have for 2 adults, but the kids got a kids buffet instead of real food.

Excellent hotel for active holidays

It was perfect stay from check in to check out. Hotel is located in fantastic place. Room was really big with comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were just awesome. Wellness area with three types of sauna and relax room with mountain view. Staff was helpful. Definitely recommended!

Breakfast selection was excellent. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. Offered great advice for dinner outside of the hotel since dinner was not available that evening. They had notified us of this well in advance which we appreciated.

Fantastic location but some staff need politeness lessons

Location and the view form the rooms are great! Breakfast was good and had variety of options. Restaurant made us a cold platter as we arriving late. Bartender Artis and the reception lady who worked in morning on 10/8/2022 were very helpful and polite.

Larissa- reception staff working on 9/08/2022 seemed rude and we as a family did not like her tone of speaking. Owners should check the message she types to guests. They don’t have any polite words like apologies, sorry about this, please etc. We really didn’t like her approach and felt she wanted to go home as soon as shift ends so was rushing us. Messages and her behaviour at reception could have been better.

Excellent large hotel up in the Malbun mountains

Modernized room was super. Excellent breakfast buffet, great sized room with very comfy bed, nice views, very helpful staff also in English. Area has nice hiking options, can be very cloudy however.

Room could have had a fridge, very very minor. Bit of a hike up to the "center" of Malbun, but quite short. Was personally feeling a bit ill so couldn't go hiking, but that's between Lady Fortuna and myself. Switzerland like high prices as well in general.

The Staffs were friendly and helpful and the dinner is delicious and interesting.

You need to be careful when taking a shower, the water is easy spread out and the loo dont have nice ventilation.

Convenient location for lovers of the outdoors with amazing views

Convenient and quiet location, amazing views, hearing the sounds of the cowbells morning and evening, friendly and helpful staff, clean bedrooms and bathroom, and powerful shower. Staff were super helpful in speaking to us in English and helping us with hiking / running recommendations. Breakfast parcel was made for us on checkout as we had an early morning flight. Special thanks to Larissa for being so helpful :)

No complaints - if I had to improve anything, I would have preferred a harder pillow. Bedroom was very warm and no air con, but the weather during our stay was unprecedented.
