Awesome location for skiing

Easy self checkin, great location! You just ski down to the lift and ski down from the slopes to the hotel. Clean place nice design

The location is amazing, everything was okay, just a few strange aspects.

The location is perfect for skiing. You can literally ski straight down the side of the building and be on the runs. The place was clean and comfortable.

The whole digital keys thing was handy, however the website the keys were on felt slightly unreliable - if you didn’t have wifi or service then you wouldn’t be able to access your keys. The service around the area isn’t great either so having a physical key alongside the digitals would’ve felt better. The unstaffed aspect was also a bit strange and made the place feel very empty and eery for a hotel. There are staff there in the morning however during breakfast time. The one interaction we overhead a staff member having with a guest was an argument which didn’t create the most pleasant atmosphere. Another aspect we struggled with was the luggage storage. On their site it explained that luggage could be stored down the side of the hotel. We didn’t realise this basically meant outside in plain site. Despite the area feeling extremely safe, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our bags there. Considering you can’t physically enter the hotel without your digital keys, which you can’t use until 3pm, there should be a better luggage storage process. We ended up having to leave our bags inside the front door. Overall we had a lovely stay but there were just a few aspects that felt a bit strange.

Clean rooms.

The hotel names it’s self as three stars but it is actually a bed and breakfast!!! No toilets and showers in the room. 10-12 rooms had to share one shower and basin .

Lovely hotel in stunning surroundings.

Could not be in a better location if you like peace and quiet , absolutely stunning landscape. Hotel itself was spotless, nice facilities and the one staff member we saw at breakfast was a lovely helpful lady . We had a balcony overlooking the falconer show which was rather fun

Although the smart phone check in worked ok it was a bit of a pain . We are not phone people and had to take it everywhere just to get back I to the hotel . The shower was lovely but water tepid not hot .

Beautiful area and kind staff.

It is a great location. The hotel is clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The girl who was in the breakfast room in the mornings was very nice and helpful. It was easy to check in and out. We had digital keys that worked very well. I loved hearing the cows on hill every morning with their bells...the view was spectacular.

The room was pretty small, but it had everything we needed. The beds were a bit uncomfortable for our taste. The breakfast was very basic, and not much variety. They do have a great cappuccino.

Clean but lacking in the off-season.

Clean and comfortable.

We came during the off-season (June). Neither the towel heating rack nor our hairdryer worked, and when I alerted the front desk and asked for an alternative, they did not offer anything even though it seemed like most of the other rooms in the hotel were empty. We just wanted to be able to dry our hair and a few pieces of clothing, but the hotel said they had no way to help us with this. Also, the town felt dead during this season- I would not come back except to ski.

After the initial struggle, it was a nice stay

The interior is nice and very very clean and the cleaning service is very diligent. Parking lot, great view from the window.

There was nobody at a reception at all times. That would be fine, if the check-in does not need to be done digitally, outside, in front of the main doors. During our arrival we almost froze due to the violent wind on that day while trying to check in 🙃 The hotel requires having smartphone at hand, which usually I prefer to not have on a vacation. Not only for a check-in, but even for opening both the main entrance and the room. I wouldn't expected this from a hotel. Last day in the morning, they blocked the parking lot with an advert for some event It was easy to hear the toilet noise in the bedroom from the adjacent room.

A very lovely hotel and very nice people

In the center of Malbun, ski in - ski out, very close to lifts and restaurants a very cozy bed & breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Parking lot in front and nice views from rooms. Breakfast was delicious, very fresh croissants, fresh juice and lots of options. Everyone was very helpful during our stay. Thanks for everything, looking forward to visit Hotel Falknerei Galina again next year. As a bonus you can also see several kinds of birds nests next to the hotel.

Only comment we can share is the door opening system (app) was very technological but in our case for 2 different rooms it was complicated, thanks to the hotel management they solved immediately through the traditional key cards.

Peaceful stay away from the hussle

Malbun is a tiny village, around 1/2h ride from the capital. You really feel like you are in the safest and most peaceful edge in the world. There is a nice restaurant opposite from the restaurant and you hear the cows‘ bells clinging near by. Very beautiful stay!

The beds could be renewed. We had to share the toilet/ bath room with another room.

The walls are thin. We were woken up twice in the night. Once by a crying child and once by the drunk people upstairs. Request for early breakfast due to a ski race was denied.

Thanks for hospitality!

The staff are so helpful. There’s bus directly from Vaduz to the doorstep from the hotel, last bus runs till 2200. Room are spacious, clean and cozy. The nearby mountain view and night sky are spectacular. It cost only CHF 19 per pax for breakfast, which is quite reasonable price given that there has no restaurants provide breakfast nearby, and the quality worth the price.

Wi-Fi signal can be improved, it drops every 3-4 minutes, but that’s fine for us.

Nice stay overall.

Great location, clean rooms, big smart tv with netflix (already signed in), ski storage, good wifi signal, heating and hot water working ok, decently sized rooms with balcony and good view. Believe it or not is still one of the cheapest around, therefore this Hotel is definitely recommended if you want to stay right there in Malbun. Din't try the food. Definitely ask for a room with bathroom and balcony if you can.

Probably a tad too expensive for what it is, although that is the trend in the whole area. Breakfast at CHF19.50 each is just a big NO, regardless how big and varied it might be. I also found quite bad not providing with proper toiletries but only with those "sachets" with shower gel (answer cannot be "environment" because of the plastic used for the very sachets). Also just a couple of non german-speaking channels in the TV would be a nice touch.

Budget-friendly in Malbun

We've stayed here before, it is a good choice for a more budget-friendly place in Malbun. Clean rooms in the middle of the village. Ski directly from the hotel. Friendly staff. Free parking right in front of the hotel, a room to store skis, and breakfast is available.

Breakfast is good, but doesn't vary, and is a bit pricey for what is available. A better bench and radiator in the ski storage room would be nice.

Staff were wonderful, everything was great. We had to book a place for dinner - most places were already full, host gave a great recommendation and booked for us. easy parking.
