Over & above Service

The staff went out of their way and stayed behind till 11.30pm for me to arrive after a delayed flight. That was over & about. And they weren't even cranky about having to do that. Great service.

Older hotel in great location

Older hotel but very clean. Good for a stop on the way to somewhere. Room pretty standard but functional and comfortable enough. Free onsite parking was great. Breakfast spread was average but plenty of it.

One night stay in Grusch

Clean room, with comfortable double bed and a TV. Good parking. Great breakfast in the morning. Cereals, meats and cheeses, boiled eggs fruit and juices. There was an adjoining room with a single bed and 2 bunks, which would be fine if there was a group of you.

Nice hotel ok for cyclists

Nice hotel with restaurant for good dinner and breakfast. We could store our bikes in an unlocked garage which was fine, no power for charging there so had to take batteries to the room.

Cold be better

The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is quiet. Breakfast is nice. The bed was ok. The views around are great. Location is excellent, with quick access to the main road, and short driving distance to many points of interest.

The room was outdated and somewhat small. We had problems with the TV set, and the selection of channels is quite boring. I have to point out that the staff responded quickly to the TV problem, even theough they could not fix it.

Superb

Booked the mixed dorm but they were nice enough to give me a hotel room at no extra cost. Staff were very nice. Room had everything you would want in a hotel room.

Some staff didn't speak English but I was still able to get through check in process fine so it didn't have much of a negative impact.

Traditional warmth

Friendly staff, good breakfast and warm traditional atmosphere. Good position near Landquart/ Chur/ Davos/ Klostets and ski area.

(If I have to find something here an advice: Moquette carpet should be removed, better for allergic people, and maybe changed with linoleum)

An old fashioned hotel with communist air

The room was comfortable enough for a night.

The room was not ready at 2 o'clock when we reached. We had to wait around half an hour for it to be ready. In this time, we stayed in the restaurant and had a coffee (horrible coffee). The restaurant is very big, but i've seen just a few stuff members. So i can't imagine the service if the restaurant would be ever full. The breakfast was really poor. Some cerials and milk, and literally 2 plates (1 with a singe kind of salamy and another kind of bacon, the other plate with one single kind of cheese). Bread and croissants. No vegetables like tomatos, red bell peppers, letuce, anything. Also no eggs.

Exceptional

We enjoed so much our stay at the Grünsch Hotel. The staff is very friendly, starting from the reception and ending with the waiters in the restaurant (by the way, the food is super tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant). The hotel is clean, the bed so comfy, the view from our room was nice. It is located next to the ski slope and has free parking spaces. Very satisfied. We will certainly return at this location.)

Very convenient location. Very courteous, warm and helpful reception. Good food in the Restaurant. Nice shower in bathroom. Price modest for Switzerland.

Great location and hotel restaurant that meets all your needs!

The location was close to the festival we were attending. Very nice places to walk our dog nearby. The artwork on the walls in the public areas very appreciated. There were some great photos as well!

Our room was close to the parking lot side, so a little bit noisy. But not enough of a problem to complain.

Price. this place would be a solid 7 if it wasn't for the great price. Breakfast was also very good. The owner was welcoming.

The bed is far from being comfortable, it's old and worn out you basically sink in. Some lightbulbs were not working. There is a lot of light coming in from the window in the morning.

beautiful place to stop for a night with a family or dog

great location, easy to find, peaceful with great grounds for the dog. right by a river path which was great for an evening walk. the boys loved the loft beds. super clean and breakfast was perfect.

A motel attached to a fine restaurant

Great restaurant! We loved it! We were very pleased by the kind personnel. The room was warm. Conveniently located close to the parking in order to get our luggage in a freezing weather

Great! I would definitely go back again.

We stayed in the hotel for a short weekend in October. The room and breakfast are quite basic but included all we needed for our short stay. For the evenings, the bar and restaurant facilities are extremely good and exceeded our expectations. The menu choice and quality of the food is very good. The staff are very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. In particular, there is a very friendly and happy waitress, who made us laugh, was extremely efficient and ensured we had a lovely evening. The hotel is a little out of Grüsch but is only a short walk away. If you stay in the summer, the outdoor area is lovely, forest, river walk, parkland and a great pool. It has great access to the postouto (bus) which goes up the mountain to the surrounding villages.

A little more comfort in the room. The mattress was a little thin and very soft. Two pillows would also be good.

Beautiful location in a nice and quite corner of the Alps. The room was far larger than we expected and despite a sight language better, the staff made every effort to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
