Had a wonderful stay at Hirschen B&B. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The location is excellent—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by stunning views of the Alps and mountains, which made mornings and evenings truly special. It’s quiet yet conveniently located with easy access to nearby attractions and transport (within 1 min). Overall, a beautiful place with breath-taking views, warm hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend Hirschen B&B to anyone looking for comfort, great food, and unforgettable Alpine scenery. 🌿🏔️

Smells like cigarettes

Good breakfast

Smells like cigarette, everyone and everywhere people are smoking, even the receptionist/multi task person. The whole hotels smells like cigarette, and also is very noisy, since the smell is so bad, we had to open the windows, street noise is high.

Very nice breakfast. Comfortable bed in large room with very nice en-suite. Single attic room was very small, no mirror, no bedside light. Had to google downstairs to shower.

The attic room ! We had a comfortable stay in our double room and very nice breakfasts, but the attic room was not very nice for our friend. Staff were helpful.

The location and the size of the room were good. The breakfast in the morning was nice (not included)

The property is a little bit old and not in the best conditions. The bad thing was the very strong cigarette smell from the bar downstairs all the way to our room in the third floor. During our stay the noise and music of the bar didn’t stop until 2am.

Cold shower..... Although letting the water run for some 15 minutes, the water just did not warm up. Cold shower first thing in the morning before the onward journey. OK, it woke me up before a long drive, but this is something I would expect from a mountain hut and not from a B&B. I gave my expected arrival time in advance and was requested to call the hotel 30 minutes before arrival. The staff member at the other end of the phone is very unfriendly and gives the caller the feeling they are disturbing. If the key is left in the drop-box this is not at all a problem, there is no need to lose ones temper. The lady preparing breakfast in the morning offered her apologies and was polite. The room was clean, the bed very low, mattress soft but comfortable. The floor is a disaster and I can only recommend to renovate this. The furniture are just odd pieces thrown together which do not really fit.

Small and clean room

Pretty cosy, walk-in shower, clean and modern bathroom, large bed, friendly staff, TV Conclusion: Not really worth the 100.- we paid for 2 people 1 night but it's Swiss prices... I would still stay again.

Budget Hotel Near Station in Maienfeld

Good shutters to darken the room. Breakfast was fine, although a bit pricey for what it was. They let us store our bicycles inside, but don't have a storage area, they were just in a corner in the hallway.

There was a wall-mounted soap dispenser in the bathroom, but no soap in it. Shampoo was supplied in little plastic packets rather than a dispenser. The restaurant wasn't operating, possibly because of construction on the nearby street? That left only one restaurant within walking distance.

well located, clean, and comfortable

it’s just next to the train station and was the perfect base to explore some hikes nearby. The rooms are super quiet considering how close you are to the train tracks—can’t hear anything.

I would have loved a kettle in the room. Given how dead the town is on weekends and evenings, it would have been handy to make some tea or instant coffee in the room.

Great place to stay while using Rhätische Bahn at a very reasonable price

This hotel is situated only a few minutes away from Landquart and Chur and is an ideal spot for venturing out on the Rhätische Bahn network. The room is basic, but is clean and secure - just what was needed. Remember to let the host know when you're arriving at weekends. I wasn't sure of my arrival time until the last minute but, after a phone call, it only took a few minutes for someone to arrive and check me in!

- The apartment matched the pictures and I was happy to see there was enough toilet paper and shampoo/shower gel and hand liquid soap (not always the case!). - Breakfast was good with offering of eggs cooked as you liked and the breakfast staff was very friendly and nice.

- You have to call 30 min before arrival to let them know you are coming so you can check in, just an inconvenience. - There was no visible signs at the building (we arrived at night time) and the entrance is on the side, so we were not sure if we were at the right place and had to make another call.

Cozy small room. It was easy and fast to be in contact with them in advance. To arrive out of the office hour was easy and I got good instructions to find the key, my room and other facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location is so convenient. Just 2 minutes walk from the Meinfield train station. The neighbourhood ia lovely. Too bad we onlynhad one night there.

Reception is not actively managed. Phone number provided to call to inform that we arrived for check-in was not valid. The wifi is totally lousy! Keeps dropping every 10-15mins. Very disruptive!

Clean, easy check-in, good location. Our room had a small kitchenette.

The bathroom sink didn’t drain well, the shower door didn’t shut all the way, and the bathroom mirror might have been ok if you’re only 5 feet tall.

Very good value, room as expected. Great location for exploring the Graubunden area, well connected by public transport.

A shame that the restaurant is no longer open, but there appears to be a general problem with restaurants in the area.

It was OK stay.

Convenient central localization, everything was just spotless. Staff was helpful. And the Maienfeld itself is absolutely stunning town.

Room size to price ratio. Too bad that there was not a small coffee machine or at least an electric kettle in the room.
