Perfect easy B&B, better than expected.

L'angolo dei sapori is a nice Italian restaurant (we didn't try teh pizza but looked super-good) with some rooms rented as B&B. It offers simple basics rooms (we saw a double and a twin with balcony), but with a great quality for money; the rooms and bathrooms were super clean and refurbished not a while ago. The breakfast is VERY GOOD and mostly fresh prepared and we loved all the people from L'angolo dei sapori we met during our stay. It's perfect if you want to have a convenient, cheap and friendly spot to get to LAAX resort (12' by car).

For an unknown reason, there are no doors in the bathrooms inside the rooms. Luckily you can overcome easily the discomfort using a shared bathroom with shower at the floor - definitely not a problem for us.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

Really lovely owners. Spotlessly clean, simple apartment with comfortable bed. The location was great, accessible to the train station and main road with parking available. It was above an Italian restaurant which we heard from our local friends is very good (but we didn’t try it). The apartment was quiet and we slept well here.

The bathroom could not be used in the room. We informed the staff, they confirmed that there was a problem, and we could use the bathroom in the corridor, which was basically ok, because we were alone on the whole floor.

We went skiing to Laax, we had a great time thanks to the amazing staff and good location.

The staff was amazing, flexible, friendly and caring, never met such great people (with real italian temper and openness). The restaurant is very cosy with delicious meal.

There is only one negative thing I can think of is the lack of the door on the bathroom in the room. However there is a common bathroom, which is very clean, so it's manageable.

Me and my friend really appreciated our stay. Everything was perfect! We arrived after skiing in Laax and could easily park the car. The beds were comfortable and the pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were also really friendly and accommodating. We loved it!

Viva Italia!

After reading the reviews, we decided to stay here anyway as it was on the Rhine Cycle Way. I’m so glad we did! Our bikes were safe, the rooms were spotlessly clean and quiet despite the Euro Cup Final playing in the restaurant below. The beds were very fluffy with down comforters and very comfortable. Windows on all sides made for nice light and a nice breeze at night. The balcony with table and chairs was perfect for our dinner, which came from the restaurant below. It’s true, the owner doesn’t speak any language other than Italian, and we only speak English and German. But we got on well enough for him to recommend a delicious veggie pizza and a lovely bottle of Italian red to go with it. For 3 Euros extra, we had the biggest breakfast we’ve had in Switzerland so far. Green and red grapes, watermelon, honeydew, pears, four kinds of cereal with milk, salami, cheese, warm baguettes and croissants, jams, Nutella, coffee, and tea.

We loved it all, and we are pretty picky. You just have to know a few things before you come so you know what to expect. Sometimes people don’t always speak your language, and that’s okay. Use hand gestures and your imagination. 😊 Sometimes, in certain cultures, it takes people a while to warm up to you. That’s okay, too. Just smile and eventually you will break the ice. I get it the complaints about there being no separation between the bedroom and toilet. We had room #2 and that’s exactly how it was. We are a happily married couple and it didn’t bother us. I can see why it would bother others, but there are five rooms available. I saw one with a shared WC in the hall, and another with a more private WC with a door. Just ask for one of those. The bottom line is, the price we paid for a nice room, a safe place to store our bicycles, a great, quiet night’s sleep, the best pizza in Switzerland, and an enormous breakfast, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this stay.

Wir waren für ein Fest dort und für diese 2 Nächte reichte das Zimmer völlig.

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Es waren nur 4 - 6 Gäste und trotzdem gab es von allem Etwas.

Sehr gutes ,leckeres Frühstück, toll angerichtet und große Auswahl. Es gab für jeden einzelnen frisch zubereitete Rühreier. Pizzaria mit schöner Terrasse( Biergarten) und sehr großen Pizzen. Auf Wunsch Frühstück ab 7:00.

Toilette und Dusche am Zimmer nur mit Milchglas und Duschvorhang abgetrennt. Positiv zu Erwähnen:Es bestand die Möglichkeit am Gang in einem separaten Zimmer ( Gemeinschaftsbad + Toilette) zu benutzen.
