Wonderful experience, felt right at home.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The entire place and room was incredibly cozy and homey, and we were pleasantly surprised at how modern and pristine the facilities were. The bathroom, though shared with other guests, was very private and safe. The shower was wonderful. Our view was just breathtaking, and I think it was the best night of sleep we had on our entire trip. Really comfortable, warm beds. I wish we had stayed another night! The attention to detail - everything you needed, nothing you didn't - was just lovely. Breakfast was wonderful too, and we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on site our first night. The guy running the place was so funny, helpful, and just a really nice person. He went above an beyond for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice breakfast buffet with everything on extras available by aski. Sunday is Grill day in the summer! Great meat and Wurscht from thw Gril from lunch till noon and great salad buffet.

Wonderful!

Staff are wonderful hosts, exceptionally clean rooms, breakfast quite good with a large variety. High marks also for the dinners but I suggest making a reservation for dinner, very popular with locals.Only distraction would be a shared bathroom but with just a few guest rooms it wasn't a problem. Just passing through Breil/Brigels and only stayed two nights, but if I visit again Surselva would be my first choice. Highly recommended.

Top location and super friendly staff! Still real Brigels style Restaurant and Hotel, price/ Value top! Breakfast Buffet has everything a stomach needs with friendly service, all very uncomplicated! Thank you all Staff, till soon!

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme wieder.

Ihr Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein aber OHO! Begeistert haben mich speziell die von Frau Livers verschiedenen selber gemachten Confitüren. *EXTRAKLASSE* Im oberen Geschoss ist der Gemeinschaftsraum mit WC und Dusche neu und sehr sauber.

Leider gibt es keinen Ski und Skischuhraum mit einem Skischuhlüfter. Der Zimmerteppich im Zimmer 1 ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und weist viele Flecken auf. Die Zimmertüren sind alt und dadurch ist es im Zimmer sehr ringhörig.

Geheimtipp!

Sehr freundliches und äussert zuvorkommendes Personal. Heimelige Ambiente mit einer guten Küche. Der Gasthof Surselva ist zwar klein und fein, dafür kommt er ganz ohne den Schnick-Schnak eines Edelhotels aus. :o) Breil/Brigels ist eine Reise wert. Ich blieb sogar eine Nacht länger und ich komme gerne wieder. Es war Erholung pur!

Das Hinweisschild für den Hoteleingang bzw. die Tel.-Nr. für die Kontaktperson sollte besser beim Eingang zum Restaurant angebracht werden, da der Hoteleingang doch etwas im Verborgenen liegt. :o)

Für einen ruhigeren und leckeren Bergaufenthalt abseits der Touristenströme

Ein nettes typisches Schweizer Berg(dorf)gasthaus, heißt, Gemeinschaftsbad und WC (aber sauber und ordentlich ausgestattet), schlichtes, aber gutes Frühstück mit Brot, Schinken, schweizerischem Käse (aber auch mit Croissants, Marmelade und Joghurts), und für Schweizer Verhältnisse nicht teuer. Das Personal ist sehr nett, und die Lage ist sehr ruhig, auch wenn man mal die Kirchturmglocke, oder ein paar Leute unten reden hört, wenn man das Fenster geöffnet hat. Die Speisekarte des Restaurants ist nicht sehr umfangreich, umfasst aber vegetarische und nicht vegetarische Gerichte, und ich kann das Essen hier wirklich empfehlen. Bushaltestelle und Volg-Supermäktchen um die Ecke, eine kleine Seilbahn auf den Berg auch nicht weit.

Nun ja, es handeln sich um kein Sterne-Hotel, so gesehen gibt es auch nichts zu beanstanden.
