Meliá Paris La Défense

I had a really good experience at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious compared to other hotels. The staff were friendly, helpful, and supportive. They even offered me an early check-in when I arrived at around 12:00 PM, which I really appreciated. I accidentally lost one of my earrings while changing my clothes, and the housekeeping staff found it and left it safely on the coffee table. I was very grateful for their honesty. During my stay, I experienced two minor issues. First, my room door lock got stuck, so I called reception, and they sent someone immediately to fix it. Second, the shower water wouldn’t cool down and stayed too hot, but a technician came quickly and resolved the problem. The only downside was transportation. It was extremely difficult to book a taxi, Uber, or Bolt from La Défense, as drivers often didn’t accept rides from the area. The hotel could arrange taxis, but unfortunately they couldn’t arrange one for me when I was leaving for the airport. I ended up waiting around 40 minutes for a driver to accept my ride through Uber or Bolt, and the fare was very expensive (€157). I recommend that anyone staying at this hotel books their airport transfer in advance to avoid the same issue. On the positive side, the metro station is only a one-minute walk from the hotel, which made getting around Paris very convenient. I also tried the room service. The food was decent, but it was quite expensive.

Despite these minor issues, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The excellent service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location made my stay enjoyable, and I would recommend it to others.

Good location just a few steps from M1 metro line. Comfortable bed, decent breakfast.

Showering in the bath tub is uncomfortable; water pressure is low. Sound insulation could be better between rooms.

Great location, impressive stature. Staff helpful and attentive.

The large number of rooms make the whole place seem a little soulless. It is very dark inside which makes it feel a little seedy. This is our second visit a few years apart. The rooms are showing their age and are rough around the edges in a disappointing way, In an unloved way, not a faded grandeur way.
