Great pjace and location The. Hotel is really nice (lobby, restaurant, bar) but the room are really usual for an hotel in Paris. Thanks to a great deal with booking I managed to pay only 180 eur per night instead of 600 eur.

The room is not a 600 eur room. Also you are asked for a 50 eur deposit per night which is actually debited from your card and you have to request for the refund, which to me is not a normal process. Last but not least the parking is really too expensive.

Room was not looked after, missing drain-stop in the bathroom, airco/heating was impossible to get a control of. Bathroom was tiny. Almost no room for luggage. Breakfast was ok, coffee was terrible. Staff was very arrogant, not helpfull. Not at checkin, checkout or the managers in the restaurant, all very unpleasant. Restaurant was not very clean.

Mama loves you; she really does

Location was great; loved the room and the provided juice, cookies and water: made on thing the slogan "Mama loves you" was lived up to. Didn't have breakfast so no info on that. Loved the view from our 9th floor room.

While the view from the 14th floor penthouse restaurant is superb, was not so impressed with the Sunday evening special dinner with live music, to which we had been invited for my grandson's birthday and which was the reason for our stay. The food (roast chicken, chips and salad, followed by profiteroles) was just about OK but certainly not special and the music was not lively enough. The car park is great; the price (30 euro for the night) is a bit steep.

A wonderful stay for a citytrip

As always, a pleasure! This was our third stay at Mama Shelter, and once again, it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable — just what we needed for a restful stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which we’ve come to expect from Mama Shelter. We were there with our family for a city trip, and the location is ideal — within just 10 minutes by car, you can reach iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and well maintained, perfect for a peaceful night after a day of exploring. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Do not recommend at all

There was nothing too like about this experience. It was poor, they were I accommodating, and they overcharged unscrupulously.

The food was in general quite poor, oily, with inadequate healthy options. There was no cafe or casual food in the morning. Definitely would not recommend as a business hotel as it is noisy, chaotic and focused on night life and boozing. They are substantially understaffed, with poor service and the overall experience is as if it was designed by a drug-addled teenager with ADD

Evening meals great Good location outside of Paris with good metro links

At weekends no food at breakfast after 10.30 Don’t sit outside - it’s small and basically the ‘smoking area’ They say breakfast closes at 11 - but essentially they start clearing up at 10.45 Bathroom in suite grotty and made cheap - sliding doors plywood. Dirty floor on floor. Stayed 4 nights, asked for a room with a view as we were put in ground floor - did not change although I asked - they weren't even nice about it - just very matter of fact! Basic room gave no coffee facilities Suite has coffee facilities (2pods) but when used they do not refill. No milk or creamer either. Staff unhelpful - and do the least possible vs. go above and beyond to help - better to have a hotel with a concierge.

Very fun and great stay

The hotel was very eccentric, cool vibe, and the penthouse bar/restaurant has a view of the Eiffel Tower.

There is no room service. So for small matters such as requesting an ice bucket and 2 glasses. You have to go to the bar and find staff to request it. This is okay during the day, when not so busy. But by the evening. It’s very busy, and you have to que up at the bar as though getting a drink only to request for glasses and ice which becomes a hassle, not only for the hotel guest but also the bar staff. Simple room service for small matters such as this could improve the experience greatly. As not all guests are able to travel to and fro so easily to obtain such items.

Meh.

Location, decor, and price.

Very stingy with basic things. Why can we not have an extra pillow? Two people staying and only two pillows in the room. Every other hotel I have ever stayed in gives you four. If you ask for another, the my tell you there are no extra pillows in the hotel. Why is that? Cutting corners on washing and supplying comforts is bad business.

Exceptional

Loved having breakfast on the top balcony seeing the eiffel tower outside. The place had a very cool vibe. Thursdays was very fun with a DJ. For both work & pleasure it met my needs. The staff was VERY nice and accommodating!

Only thing that would be a complaint keeping in mind I am American is the air conditioning kept turning off.

Perfect weekend at Mama Shelter

We loved everything about the hotel - the bedroom was a good size, bed was so comfy, all the movies on the TV were great. We also went to the penthouse a couple times and the diner once for breakfast. Everything was perfect and the staff were so nice! Also, while the location is a bit further out, it’s super easy to get the metro into town and takes no time at all.

Questionable stay!

After our stay at Mama Shelter Luxembourg, we fell in love with the chain and its concept! it took us seconds to book for our stay in Paris, after seeing that Mama Shelter had branches there. However, the experience in Paris was not as exciting and interesting as that in Luxembourg. The staff was BEYOND careless and rude, not situated for service sector. To add, we booked 3 rooms for our group and were not helped in having them close to one another. The rooms are small. The cleanliness is questionable.

1/ Spacious and calm room. 2/ Available car parking in the builinding (n.b. : payable in addition to the hotel fee) 3/ Original interior design 4/ Recepcionists were helpful 5/ Elevators work fast and silently 6/ Hotel location close to the metro station

1/ Despite having paid the hotel fee in its totality and in advance when booking the room, an amount of 100 euros has been demanded at check-in (blocked in the credit card). This isn't mentioned anywhere on the conditions. In addition, this amount couldn't be used to pay at the restaurant, nor to pay the car parking lot, as explained by receptionist. 2/ The dinner staff is pleasant but unexperienced. Ordered items were forgotten to be served and we had to ask for them a couple of times. 3/ The food menu doesn't list allergenic ingredients, nor gluten free options. The waiter didn't know how to guide us (the chef had to intervene). 4/ The booked room was for 3 persons. The available toiletry items put at disposal was for 2 persons. 5/ The room should have more electrical outlets. 6/ The room floor wasn't vacuumed at the second day of our stay (and I'm allergic to dust).
