Was just really small
9.0 / 10.0
This is a lovely, spotlessly clean hotel in a quiet location. The staff are exceptionally polite and welcoming. Most of the reception staff speak excellent English, and the others I spoke to spoke at least a little English, and were very patient with my attempts to recall my O-level French!
I had a single room, which was pretty small (though I did know this in advance), and was very well equipped, with a comfortable bed. I especially liked the controllable aircon! Although the hotel has 4 floors, thankfully there is a lift.
Breakfast (continental) was delicious, and very reasonable at €14 per person.
Nothing, really. Maybe squeezing a minibar (which are standard in their double rooms) into the single rooms (I found the perfect space!) and providing teaspoons in the room to stir your tea/ coffee.
Also, Booking.com states that the hotel "reserves the right" to apply a security deposit to your credit card in advance of your arrival. I think this must be a mistranslatuon of the original French on Booking.com's part, because the hotel receptionist told me it is the hotel's standard policy to always take a security deposit in advance. You do get the whole security deposit back about a day or so after you check out, though.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet situation. Nearby a nice cafe. Good train links to the city centre.
Noisy people arrived on the second night (I think on the floor above) and kept me awake most of the night banging about and wheeling suitcases.

They clean your room everyday when you go out
The TV enables you to connect your phone .
Pre authorisation
There is a pre-authorisation fee of €100 which they take from you with no warning soon after you make the booking. They keep this as insurance and you still have to pay for the room in full even though they say no prepayment needed on booking.com. They took this payment from me twice and when I arrived, they admitted the error and 'cancelled' the second payment and said it should be with me soon but I still had to pay in full and did not receive the refund for the duration of my stay.
Room
The room was right in the reception so we woke up to the sound of people having breakfast.
The room was also very small with a pullout bed and looked nothing like the photos.
Bags
Perhaps because of the location of the room, there were a bunch of bags (probably belonging to other guests) right in front of the door of the room for the whole time we were there.
Keys
You are asked to leave your keys when you go out in the morning so they can clean the room.
Air conditioning
There was no remote for the air conditioning. When I asked about it, the person at the desk was surprised and asked if it wasn't in the room. The air conditioning also did not work the entire time we were there so it was very hot.
Mini fridge
There was a mini fridge but it was off and you can't turn it on. They do have a fridge behind reception where you can ask to put things.
Bathroom
The bathroom shower door leaked unto the floor but they did clean the room every day so this was not a big issue.
Staff
The staff changes every day and depending on who you get they may or may not be able to solve your problem.

Apparently, there is nothing about the property due to the experience we have had. I have had a very bad experience with the hotel and their staff. I wouldn’t recommend this 3 star hotel for the price their charge and the type of service you get.
The property must have had air conditioner and that was one of the criteria to book this hotel. Unfortunately, I was provided room number 105 and the air conditioner was not working and I reported to the reception immediately but the hotel couldn’t do anything and ended up sleeping with the windows open. ( Paris weather could get warm in June ). The hotel think this is perfectly ok to do so even after paying the full price.
I requested for a room change and they couldn’t offer me for the first night but could only do it for the 2nd night ( upon my request to find a solution). I hope booking.com can help me and the other guests who may chose to book this hotel

Great location and great value for money
The room was perfect but the shower was a bit small. However, the room and bathroom were very clean and well serviced during the stay

the breakfast was awfull, not a lot of variety, hard bread and eggs were not edible

Location, staff, facilities, cleanliness were great.
Lift broke down for 2 days; staircase is not very easy to use when handling baggages. Lady staff volunteered to handle our bagages when we checked out. Luckily we were on the first floor only !!!

Great little hotel in lovely area of Paris. Hotel clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Value for money.
Puteaux area has a real village feel.

Staff were exceptionally good. Room was quiet. No complaints about the service received.
Room was very warm and a bit stuffy and no obvious way to cool it down (air con was set to heat further). Had to cut stay short due to industrial action in France which we were only informed of on the day we arrived and left us unable to get back to station. So trip turned out to be expensive as we still had to pay for the whole time booked.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything I needed. The property was within a short walk to the metro, convenient for getting to the inner city. The staff was extremely helpful, especially during my time of struggle. Paper maps helped me when my phone service was down, and Rémy helped translate some things for me. Overall, I’m very pleased with Hotel Vivaldi, and I will return in the future to this property that I trust.

An utterly exceptional hotel staffed by utterly exceptional people. Highly recommended
It is a bit of a trek to public transport, especially the metro. But doable - use Esplanade rather than La Defense.

Room was nice, it had a safe and air conditioning. Bed was really comfortable. Staff were really friendly and luckily spoke good English as my French is really bad. Lovely area, more locals staying but lots of flowers and places to eat.
