I used the hotel as a base. The restaurant was not open for breakfast but!, the shops & cafe’s were only down the road so the location was good - The metro was a 5 min walk so only 15/ 20 mins ride to get into the centre of Paris- The hotel was clean, the shower was great in my room & the bed was comfortable 👍 The chap on reception was very helpful & polite. I would stay again 😀

Not very clean. Nice location, but disappointed compared to the photos. It is a basic Hotel, with friendly staff, but not very clean (when I had to pick up something from under the bed, it was completely dusty).

First couple of nights were alright, the person who worked the front desk was friendly. On my last night the person that worked the reception had all the lights turned off, was watching TV in the dark and was generally quite rude. I left my key in the room and he started shouting at me saying don't forget your key. Honestly a very unpleasant experience to deal with. The person that worked the front desk the first 2 nights was incredibly friendly however. Just the Sunday night I had a bad experience. I hope anyone who stays there doesn't have to deal with him.

Convenient location and reasonable price, and away from the crowds of tourists

What you see in the pictures as 3 star hotel it’s even matching 1 star hotel. We have stayed 3 nights they never cleaned the room even not change the linens.everyday we have to ask towels. When we complained about room cleaning they were asked to go out of the the room. Even when we went out as per their request cleaning was not done. The bed was not comfortable. Toilet seat not fixed properly. It’s was moving around when we sat on it. Corridor was not cleaned for some time it’s dirty. Lift was so old and small only one person could accommodate with one luggage. Cleaning staff opened the doors without knocking with the master keys which was really disturbing. They switched off the AIr conditioner from the main board it was terribly hot in the night. So we didn’t have a good night sleep.

We booked the hotel last minute but still got a good rate. The hotel is a 7 min walk away from M1, which operates even during a strike so you don’t have to worry about transportation. There’s also a tram stop and a small train station — you can hop on a train that goes directly to Versailles if you wish. The area is quite nice even though it’s a suburb, lots of restaurants and boulangeries. With the metro you can get to Louvre in 20 mins or so, which is pretty sweet considering it’s Paris. The rooms are really basic, clean and tidy. The beds are a bit too soft for my liking but for that price, I’d sleep on a floor. There’s an elevator too! The breakfast consists of toast, baguette, and croissants. Hard boiled eggs, ham, cheese, jams, nutella and honey. Natural yoghurt, muesli, wheat cereal. Apples and figs. Tea, coffee, milk, juice. For us it was enough but obviously it wasn’t mindblowing. The only thing that I was not happy about was the wifi. You have to ask for a wifi connection at the desk and you will be given a personal log-in info. 1) It didn’t work on my phone (it worked on my laptop and my friend’s phone), and 2) it was a bit wonky, we had to give up on watching a movie half way through, and 3) it’s only for a limited amount of time, mine expired at midnight so I couldn’t use it in the morning on our last day before check out. It was just a very annoying system.

I will never ever think to stay in this for following reason 1- no telephone in the room2- the tv very small and behind the entrance door3- the seat toilet is not fixed4- the noisy sound from the top level bed waked me in the midnight 5- you can hear the conversation from next room clearly

Not good wifi

I like the fact it was in a quiet area however when I asked for things to do around and I didn’t get much answer. I was asked if I needed my room cleaned I said no but I can use some extra towels the front desk said okay and I didn’t receive any.

Very suitable for families; good infrastructure around; reasonable access to Paris

My booking was cancelled on check-in day. I booked two weeks from the check-in day. I got e-mail that my booking was confirmed and don't need to additional check for the booking. But the hotel canceled my booking in the morning of check-in day. I asked as soon as I got the cancellation e-mail and asked to hotel agency. At 9 o'clock in the morning, hotel canceled my booking and found new guest. It destroyed my first trip to Paris, France. It was the worst experience I have ever had.

Staff were friendly but the hotel was a bit unloved and needed a good clean. As an example, every time I put my phone down on the bedside table it would stick to it. The aircon in my room also didn't work so was a bit hot on a couple of muggy nights and wouldn't rush to stay here again

Hotel needs some serious makeover. Beds are lumpy, carpets are musty and smelly.

Smelly rooms and needs immediate renovation , old age

The good thing about this hotel is that it is just 15 minutes from the center of Paris. We had a car, so I have no idea about public transportation. The mattress in our room (404) is so hard that it felt like a leaping on a thin carpet on the floor. But our daughter’s room (493) had better mattresses on the 2 single beds. The bathroom wasn’t exactly clean, but not dirty either. One of the bedside lamps had a bad shade and no bulb. Breakfast was minimal and cheap looking. There were boiled eggs, but only two salt shakers for all guests to share and no pepper. You get it, I’m sure; we didn’t pay much and we got what we paid for.

I had read many very poor reviews for this hotel but due to a lack of available rooms elsewhere on my days of travel I wasn't left with any real choice. Furthermore the general lack of availability meant premium pricing which at €210 per night is too expensive for what what you get. The same criticism applies at other hotels during peak times. Having said all that I was actually presently surprised by my stay. The hotel was perfectly acceptable for my needs and I only stayed 2 nights.The location is good and gives easy access to La Defense and Metro and Neuilly is only about 15 mins walk away. The room was small but generally clean (top shelf of the wardrobe excepted) and the bed was comfortable.The staff were welcoming and breakfast was also reasonable, but not great, and was comparable with what's on offer elsewhere. In summary the hotel is fine for short stays when all you really need is a decent bed and shower facilities and if you won't be spending much time on the premises. I would use this hotel again but not as my first choice at the price I paid.
