B&B Elfi

It was my first time in Salzburg and, without a doubt, I hope to return. If I do, I will definitely book a room at this hostel again. The beautiful decoration, the attention to every detail, the amenities, the impeccable cleanliness — from the room to the dining area and the bathrooms — and, above all, the warm, homely atmosphere make the stay feel truly special. I travelled on vacation with the intention of exploring Salzburg’s history, and it was wonderful to discover that public transportation is practically right around the corner. In addition, many of the main sights in the Old Town can be reached on foot within a maximum of 30 minutes. And it is absolutely worth walking: the surrounding scenery is so lush and beautiful that exploring Salzburg on foot becomes part of the experience. Breakfast is served every day, with fresh products, and is prepared and served by the owner herself, a truly lovely lady. The dining room also has the charm of an authentic Alpine cabin, which makes every breakfast even more special. For me, it was a truly wonderful experience: satisfying, warm and, above all, very happy. I left with the feeling that I had found a place I would genuinely love to return to. I sincerely recommend it.

Very poor choice for breakfast (few slices of meat, some cheese and one egg per person! Ridiculus!) 120euro per night and c'mon - no hot breakfast? They could feed their guest better!
