Above par budget hotel with fab staff & good bus connections into Salzberg.

I was visiting a relative in the local hospital, it was a great location to use as a base. Good bus connections to get around with the free Salzberg bus pass that the hotel gives you. I had a single room at the rear of the property, it was very quiet, spotlessly clean with a nice modern look to it. The bed was comfy enough for a few nights stay. There’s a busy road intersection & aircraft flying by, but once you close the windows you can hardly hear them. Of an evening it’s a very quiet suburb. Reception, dining & the bar were in the building next door but one, about a 1 minute walk away. The staff were very helpful & made me feel welcome. Breakfast was standard continental fare, plenty of it, lots of options. The evening food is limited to pizza or a toasty, but it was delicious & so was the beer. It’s not luxurious but it more than punches above its weight in the budget hotel section.

The breakfast and room were great. Also the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We needed more pillows as the pillows were quite low and uncomfortable. Other than that everything was great!

Great hotel for the price

Check in was easy and straightforward and the call on the helpline was very easy to talk to and get help. The room was nice and comfortable with all the amenities needed. The sound proofing was great as even though there was a main road outside , you wouldn’t be able to tell. The ability to check in and out online made everything so simple and easy. The location is only 15 min bus ride from city centre and there is a bus stop 1 minute from the hotel.

Although the room was mostly clean the floor was dusty but best you can expect for the price

Room was small, but for me that was no problem, since the price was perfect. Bathroom was spatious, modern and clean.

Good economic hotel but without fridge

The breakfast, if you're able to eat enough to get your money back, it's a great feature. Location is great within Salzburg (Maxglan). Pretty quiet at night but still bring earplugs.

A nice 30 min walk to the old part of Salzburg and easy bus route back. Not much to do in the area but a nice enough pla

No staff on site but it didn’t make much of a difference as self check in worked well. We wanted to leave our luggage but it was quite complicated so we left it at the train station.

A well kept , clean and comfortable hotel , just right for a short break.

The hotel was well situated within easy travelling distance to local attractions.

The Restaurant for breakfast was situated in the sister hotel and you had to walk to the restaurant which was situated around the corner to the back of the hotel we were staying in.

the room was very good -the staff where very helpful - the area around was also excellent and very quiet as there was a very good restaurant 2 minutes from hotel

The hotel is clean.

We were very disappointed by the hotel room which is too small for 3 of us although we paid a price premium for our room. My husband could hardly fall asleep due to the poor quality of mattress. It is not worth the money.

Poor

Very small hotel room. It was on second floor with no lift so we had to carry our bags which were very heavy. Cofee sachets was only one for 2 persons. I called receptionist and then she said that I have to collect it from MAX 77 . For evening no coffee sachets as well as sugar etc.

The hotel location was perfect for a nice walk into downtown. The rooms were modern and very clean. Staff was friendly and respectful.

When i booked the room, i paid a city tax. Upon check in, i had to again pay the city tax again. For one person staying 2 nights, it's 'eh, whatever.' However, if you come with a family and stay longer, you may be hit with a surprise fee - which you may have already paid.

The location was excellent. The personnel were accommodating and very nice.

The rooms could have been cleaner. Also the rooms were very warm and the airconditioning didn’t work until we were given the remote on the last night. It meant we could sleep with the windows closed and therefor in a quieter room.

Good budget option; reception is in a different hotel

This is a good Salzburg budget option with a comfy bed, clean room and quiet place to sleep. It is about a 17-min bus ride to the Old Town, depending on traffic (Take Bus 1 in front of the hotel). The staff is friendly & it was a nice stay. I would stay here again.

The reception is actually in a hotel around the block, called Max 70. It was a surprise that I had to check in there, and if I had a problem, I had to go over there. Also, there is no reception after 10pm or so, so if you lose your key at night, you are screwed. Laundry is 7 euros a load to use the machine yourself.

Second time here, ideal for a quick stopover on the outskirts of Salzburg. Walked to it from the airport, about 30 minutes & about the same into Salzburg. Good price for Salzburg, nice and clean, kettle & cup, teabag & coffee for a cuppa in the morning. Just the job. Very nice staff on the desk each time I've been. Had an upstairs room this time, nice and quiet.

The facilities are clean and modern

Many people will like the hotel as the rooms are very comfortable. However, I was given a room right next to the front door (the reception is in another building) and was kept awake the whole night by people going in and out. When I complained the next morning the receptionist was dismissive, seemingly unable to understand that the location of the room was in any way a problem. After a long and fairly bizarre discussion I was given a different and quieter room. However, it is entirely unacceptable to expect guests to sleep in a room where noise is guaranteed.

Good location, 30 minutes walk to the city center. The hotel is pleasant, in a quiet area and it has free parking (4-5 places). Heating and hot water ok.
