Penny pinching and lack of hospitality

While there are a few positive points, the negative points overwhelm them

The clear lack of hospitality and penny pinching. I book a double room and indicated I was a solo traveler. The room was made for one with one small sheet that does not cover the bed, one pillow, one coffee, one sugar, one creamer, one tea bag. This is not hospitality, especially considering the price. The staff is not knowledgeable about their offering. The AC is set to heating at a high temperature without the possibility to control it. I had to sleep the window open. If I pay for a room I also pay to control the temperature.

Comfortable Clean Modern Room

Room was modern and a good size, it was cleaned every day. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Bus stop to town is right outside which is free when you pay the city tax. Buses very regular. We felt that the hotel was in a good location and close to the airport.

Would have liked clean towels over our 3 night stay. The breakfast was €15 each if you pre-booked €18 if you didn't, we felt that the offering didn't warrant this price but it was more for the convenience.

A comfortable and relaxing experience in Salzburg

The location and the online check in and check out facilities are superb. The room is spacious. The staff are super helpful. The facility to store luggage in advance of check in was convenient. We also appreciated the welcome fruit and bottle of water. Public transport is easy to get from the hotel. The room heating is comfortable and overall, it is a very good experience. Strong WiFi.

Lighting in the room is a little inadequate. On the final day, I felt that the floor was grimy and had not been properly cleaned.

Comfy, clean, great value hotel

Comfortable, clean, modern hotel on No.1 bus route to old town, centre, & railway station. Friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast, pretty gardens. Convenient for visiting all the sights. Large fridge in room useful (but a bit noisy). Good hot shower, basin, separate toilet (needs hands sanitiser for hygiene!) Our room 106 was double aspect, light, & quiet, being away from main road.

My stay there was smooth. I enjoyed the time of staying there.

The place was quiet, which I liked. Several bus and tram stops around it made it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was also quite good, with a good variety of choices.

I wish the room's light were a bit brighter than it is now.

Close to bus stop,

Staff were new trainee didn’t know much which costed us spending more 150 euro as we had mobility pass which covers transport but they didn’t know to go to Hallstatt, we can take bus from Salzburg station to a location and then by Train, they guided us by train and we had to pay 244 euro for return ticket , which in the evening other Fellow travellers from India told us about that they manangrd in 35 euros, it’s big loss due to unawareness of new trainees,

The room was very comfortable and cozy and everything was of high quality. The beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well

Affordable and Definitely Recommended

The hotel is situated in a very nice location which has good communication from Airport and Tourist spots. We took the balcony room and the view was serene. During the winters, waking up to the Austrian Alps covered with snow was a beautiful experience from the balcony. The price is affordable and the staffs were also friendly. I requested to arrange a bottle of Champagne in the room before arriving at the hotel, and they managed to do so perfectly. It was a HAPPY experience altogether.

The room was spacious and Clean. But since we got a free upgrade to another bigger room, not sure if it's only in our case- the alignment of Sofa wrt to the TV was not well. The TV should be facing some sitting area which was not the case. Maybe the interior can be re-arranged. But it's a minor thing to neglect compared to the amazing time I had.

Great stay in affordable hotel for family of 4.

Comfortable bed for adults. Air conditioning. Nice grounds for property. Small refrigerator and paper place settings for each guest in unit.

Bed for children was uncomfortable for 2 small tweens. Expensive breakfast at 18 euros each including for 11 and 12 year olds.

Excellent stay in a very beautiful city

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had a terrace opening into a garden, even though it is next to a busy street and close to the airport it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is not in the city center but bus is available right in front of the hotel and it is also very nice to walk to the city center

Location is great, very clean hotel, confortable room even if we were 4 in the room.

The service was very poor, any information about discount cards or were to step off of the bus in the center, the breakfast was bad and expensive.

Superb

air conditioning works very well. it is definitely a plus during hot summer days. Wifi is also great. tram/bus #1 in front of hotel could take you to the popular tourist sites.

I like the toilet and bathroom separated. It will be better if more space is for the bathroom.

Nice clean hotel with a convenient location, little of the pricey side.

Location and bus stop location. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was very clean. Outside luggage storage.

No one there at night was unsettling. Breakfast was too expensive to even consider. Having to pay for parking is crazy as you are a guest of the hotel I’ve never heard of that before.

Nice hotel, in good location, clean rooms and with tea making facilities.

Although the hotel was not right in the city centre, the bus outside the hotel takes you directly there and is only a 10-15min journey so it's very convenient. The room was clean and a good size and I loved that it had a kettle, which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel as I like drinking tea daily, which isnt always available in restaurants etc.

I would have given a 10 but 1 point was deducted because the hotel staff provided incorrect information on the Salzburg card, which I purchased at the reception. I asked if I had to pay extra for the buses that took me to the musuems that were located outside the city centre. On both occasions (different staff) they said yes, that I needed to travel to the main train station to get on those buses. I found out on the last day of the trip that the Salzburg card actually included those bus journeys and one of those buses to the museum far from the city centre was just outside the hotel. So I wasted >€20 on bus tickets just because I was given the wrong information. I do not expect hotel staff to have all the info that is asked but if they dont know, they should say that instead of guessing and providing the wrong information!!

Rooms were clean, and a roomy bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
