Property is in a great location, 1 minute walk to the beach.

Pool area is poorly maintained and dangerous, broken pool tiles caused cuts to my children’s feet and legs, no shade or umbrellas to escape the sun, no swim up bar. Rooms are old and updated, almost no water pressure for showers, bath took 25+ minutes to run. Beds are hard, uncomfortable and broken, every-time you sat on them legs would break. No in room services at all, safe was broken so couldn’t store any valuables, massive lack of power points and most of them hard wired to lights so you could only use them if the lights were on or you removed the light bulbs, loose wires hanging out of sockets. Doors to rooms had no seals so mosquitoes had free reign, no coils or anything provided by the hotel to counter this. Wifi had reception, didn’t work, couldn’t even open a basic internet page. Brought up issues with management, absolutely no care. This place has so many issues, more than I can possible list. It has so much potential but as the manager lives on site it seems as though it’s just been used to subsidise his living arrangements.

The location was fantastic

OMG, this is a really old run down hotel, the linen is terrible, my wife’s clothes had lint everywhere from the towels and bed sheets, the first room that we stayed in had a hole in the Duvet cover. All of the power points are connected to a switch with a light, or kettle so when charging a phone or anything else, the light must remain on. There are exposed wires, cabinets are falling apart. The bathroom mirror is so old that it has rust behind it. The shower water pressure is terrible and the bathroom faucet only has cold water.

The Free welcome drink was a glass of warm water, everything was below expectation. The room looks smaller and was really grubby particularly the bathroom. The bathroom actually looks like it was out of the 1980s. The Wi-Fi was absolutely crap and could not be used. I even had a couple of power cuts Which were to my room only. The room doors are not really secure. Overall it was just yuck.

Once beautiful, tired now

Lovely older Bali style. Quiet property. Only noise was the 18yr old elephant upstairs. Staff were lovely EXCEPT the sulky uncooperative girl on reception over the weekend. She did not not want to be there and did not want to fix anything. Great blackout curtains. House cleaners, gardeners etc all lovely, friendly, very helpful. Gardens are lovely and well looked after unlike our room. (I suspect they put us in their worst room. It was not by the pool which we asked for.)

The dangerous toilet in our room that was too close to the floor for an adult. Dirty mouldy bathroom with loose plumbing and missing tiles The door adjoining the rooms. We had non smoking. Next door smoked! TV and voice noise came through esp. at night. Room not set up with hand towels and face flannels. No tissues. No milk or whitener for tea/coffee. No hair dryer. Kept at reception! Really? All of which you expect from a hotel or even a guest house Noise from Cocoon across the road all night. Taxi mafia closing beach esplanade to taxis so hard to get in and out. Authorities need to wipe these guys off the map. I should say, we are old 70 so long walks to get services not an option. Great location for younger stayers. Property needs some TLC. WORST was the lazy ladies who operate the franchised restaurant. There is no chance of breakfast before 10 o'clock. That's why there are no included breakfasts but being available from $6 as Bookings.com say is NOT true. You have to go some distance from the hotel to find breakfast before 9 am. Stiff luck if you're on a tourist going on day trips etc.

Location Was great, Garden area and Pool very good, peaceful and quiet great for elderly people but not for the younger sent. no breakfast.

The Bungalows were very old, maintenance non existence, shower no hot water no pressure, cupboard space very poor and impractical, we have been going to Bali for over 50 years and Puri Naga is not up to standard, it is stuck in a time warp.

Great value, great situation, great staff.

This property is old and a little faded but the location is great. Right on the beachfront so wonderful access to the beautiful surf beach and all the restaurants with live music, fireworks etc every day and night. The staff work very hard to keep it clean and in good condition.

It would really benefit from bathroom upgrades but then you would start to look at similar prices to other beachfront properties and this is right on Double Six beach corner.

Comfortable, spacious room with good pool, close to shops, restaurants and right on the beach.

Pool was very good. Right near the beach at Legian. Plenty of places to eat and change money with competitive prices. ATMs just outside of the Hotel. Great music at the bars on the beach. Helpful and friendly staff. Massage and Spa available but we didn't try. Airconditioning in the room worked very well. Bed was comfortable. Room was made up every day and towels replaced. Basic tea/coffee facilities available. Small bar fridge available (empty). Nice porch outside to sit on and have coffee or fruit. Drying rack outside for swimming costumes. Gardens around the cottages were lovely and it felt like a tropical secluded spot. The room size was very good given the price and the bathroom was clean and spacious with a separate mirror and makeup mirror outside. The vanity basin was a good size. With ample space around the bowl and large mirror. Did have mixers for the hot/cold water and quite modern.

They didn't have an iron, ironing board, safe (for passports, money etc) nor spoons for stirring coffee (were provided on request very quickly). The bedside power outlets only worked when the bedside light switches were on. Inconsistent switches for room lighting - some were on the wall and 7 of them were on a bed side table including power for the TV and kettle outlets. As far as I could tell none of the cable TV channels had English speaking channels but some had subtitles. TV was an very old model with no HDMI input and event he cable box was using the yellow/red/white RCA style cables into the TV. Front door was sticky to open and one side of wardrobe cupboard door was loose and needed pushing back towards the hinges to close. Hot water took at least two minutes to get to the shower or vanity taps. Roadways to hotel very narrow for cars. Beachfront footpaths and walls to road under construction all the way to Kuta although good path to walk along the beach almost on the sand.

Old Bali

Location was awesome. Hotel is tired but the feeling of old Bali which we liked and for the price you pay happy enough. Big rooms and balcony. We had a good aircon.

Took a while for hot water to come through for the shower but it did. So hot anyway, a cool shower didn't matter too much. Water pressure a little light on. No tissues or face washers but they gave hand towels when asked and a 2nd pillow.
