Friendly staff

The location is excellent for access to the main attractions and city centre. In addition, the staff were exceptional-going out of their way to explain parking procedures. If you are going to stay here, take advantage of the discounted parking offered by the hotel.

Sadly, the room was disappointing. Extremely cramped, particularly as we had our small dog too. The pictures on the website do not reflect what was offered. Also, noise from occupants above us even though we requested a quiet room. A shame really as the hotel has great potential.

A cave without a view.

Location only, receptions friendly.

Small room, bathroom smells of old, mould air. View from the room. I do understand that not every room can be pictured and put on Booking, but at least should be mentioned that some of the rooms have rubbish bins and scaffolding view, minimum light.

1. Trying to get in at night, give guests an access code of some type, rather then ringing night staff 2. After arriving late the last night with bad stomach indigestion, the night staff were unable to find a glass of milk for me to help, obviously milk is strictly limited

Great location, really good places to eat and drink just up the road, turn right when leaving the hotel. Room was basic but good value for the money. Parking was close and good but tight exit for bigger cars.

The room we had, sky light room. No air conditioning and the Fan provided was loud/noisy and difficult to sleep. Facilities were poor - No tea/coffee or bottled water provided in room.

Nice hotel in a nice city.

Affordable hotel, with friendly staff, in good location. The fan in the room was much appreciated during the heatwave. The online check-in/check-out process is straightforward.

The bathroom's a little bit small, though I was in a single room so not unexpected. Personally would prefer the shower floor to drain differently, but it's not a deal-breaker.

Had such a lovely stay in Nantes. Hotel Duquesne had everything you could need for a one or two night stay. The hotel is conveniently located being only a short walk to all major sights. Great breakfast buffet too!

Excellent location in the city center, just across from tram stops. The staff was very helpful, and since arrived on a bike, I liked the early check-in time. Safe bike lockup in a nearby garage.

Exceeded my expectations, everything was great.

The room was cozy and comfortable. The window/balcony is gorgeous and the staff was super nice and welcoming. The location is also great, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, it's a few minutes from the "centre-ville", and there are some great bars and restaurants nearby.

I wish the bathroom offered more toiletries.

Too quirky and noisy

it was near a very good restaurant.

It’s in a very noisy area and my room was not in the main building, but around the corner. This meant walking alone at night. There are also large cables laying in a heap in front of the door (I’m not sure of their purpose) and a bicycle stand, all of which you have to navigate to enter this annex.
