    Good location for restaurants, bars, and shopping, but the over designed rooms could do with an overhaul. Lots of tired fittings and broken bits and pieces.

    Staying at Hotel Perouse in Nantes. Great Location. Staff lovely. Very nice breakfast. All good so far, few more days to go.

    Arrived earlier than check in time and were able to leave our bags. At 3pm we were given our room, our bags had already been delivered to the room. Room 104 is small, the glass shelves and hanging rail are not easily accessible or practical to use. It feels like there is too much furniture in the room. We kept the window open at all times, which cooled the room and wasn't too noisy. The bed and pillows were comfortable and afforded restful sleep. The bath and shower combination worked very well. The bath is deep, making it a little awkward to get in and out. The hotel is very well located, with bus and trams nearby. The area around the hotel has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops.
