A very welcoming stay for us, clean with friendly staff in a great location

The staff were so helpful and friendly, the location was brilliant, so easy to get the bus up or down the hill to explore the local area. Breakfast was fresh with lots of homemade delicious savoury and sweet options. Room was very comfortable and the sauna and pool perfect for a relax after a busy day seeing the sights.

We had a great stay at Landhaus Marlies and would gladly recommend this accommodation. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The surrounding area is beautiful—peaceful and ideal for relaxing or exploring nature. One of the highlights was the wellness area, which is very well maintained and a great bonus after a day of hiking or sightseeing.

A perfect base for an amazing week in Zell am See

The owner and family were very friendly and helpful, the whole place was spotless, nicely decorated and well set up, and we really loved the pool and wellness area. The Summer Card was fantastic and saved us a lot of money on activities in the area.

The host family is very friendly and helpful, especially the host’s daughter was kind and smiley

The location was close to the ski lift Schmittenhohenbahn, reachable by bus, in front of the house, only two stops away. The location has facilities (breakfast, indoor pool, sauna, ski storage room). The apartments are big and clean. We were lucky because at the end of February we had the chance to take part in the annual carnival in town, Fasching.

simply amazing and Martina really cares about her guests

This place is a little gem not far from the ski lifts. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. The spa facilities were superb and very clean and well maintained. It exceeded our expectations! Would definitely return!

Well kept, beautiful place

Extremely well kept, beautiful place with a lovely host family. Rooms were tidy and spacy, we had our own balcony with a view to the mountains. There's a spa department in the basement with a terrace. Good breakfast with homemade varieties every morning. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the centre, but very close to the cable car so you can get an early morning start. Would definitely go again!

Great BnB with lots of Austrian charm. Clean and tidy with great facilities such as wellness area and heated ski storage. Host is fantastic and puts on a great spread for brekkie.

I knew the property was a walk from town but sometimes the bus didn’t come at all or it was very busy in the mornings. A resort problem really.

-Excellent breakfast, great selection of food options including eggs, bacon, beans, sausages. -Outstanding hospitality from the host. -Beautiful location. -Really enjoyed the Spa facilities in the evening - swimming pool, sauna and steam room. -Spotless big room. -Easy access to the slopes - 10 minute walk or the 71 bus stop is just outside! Buses are free and very frequent when slopes are open.

Really nice place to have a quick winter break!

The room was specious (double bed + single bed option), clean, tidy and quiet. The host who is Czech was really kind and helpful. Breakfasts change everyday, with a lot of options. The wellness area was pretty nice, pool and saunas. 30 meters to ski bus stop. Free parking space. Available space to heat up your food.

The chairs or the bed in the "leaving" room weren't so comfy, and the terrace on the ground floor is hidden from the sun after 3PM. Kind of difficult to find a place to rest after skiing. If you are going late evening to the wellness, take your towel. It happens, there is no more towels available.

Hotel in the mountains, near centre Zell am See

Very helpfull staff. They make sure you feel comfortable. Good breakfast. Free parking. Busstop almost in front of the door (otherwise it is a good walk to the centre of town).

It is not cheap in Zell am See, so the hotel is pricy. We had a mosquito-problem on the first night. Close the doors when you need a light in your room. The breakfast is very good, the breakfastarea is quite small.

Accomodation I can only recommend - owners were hospitable and very helpful with anything we asked, our room was clean and cosy, welness is beautiful and has access to the garden. Breakfasts fullfiled our expectations. It is a bit further from the city centre, but it is still posible to walk there. We really enjoyed our autumn stay at this hotel.

In the evening we were personally, and very hospitable, welcomed by the hostess / owner of the Landhaus. The room was lovely, very neat and clean. An extensive and delicious breakfast. And the pool and spa area in the basement were great! We had a wonderful stay and especially the personal attention of the owner was very nice. And the love for her LandHaus is noticeably present! Also with the other staff. We had a very nice stay and would like to return.

Kleiner Familienbetrieb, top geführt!!

Superfreundliche Gastgeberin, superfreundliches Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot alles, was man vor einem langen Skitag braucht. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, wir hatten auch eine kleine Küche mit Kochplatte. Skibus bleibt fast vorm Haus stehen, zur Talstation Schmittenhöhe sind es vielleicht 600m und auch der Blick vom Balkon war sehr schön. Alles in allem war es top!

Vi var på hotellet i 5 overnatninger. Det lå tæt på byen og tæt på skilifterne. Bussen går lige ude foran hotellet. Være

Overnatningstedet lå rigtig godt placeret! Det var tæt på pisten, som man kan stå på ned i byen, hvor man kan tage liften op på bjerget. Den var tæt på bussen, så selv om der kun var 600 meter til liften, var det en nem mulighed, så man slap for at gå. Hotellet var pænt og rent. Morgenmaden var god, der var det man havde brug for, samt gratis frugt hele dagen. Poolen og saunaen var et stort plus! Specielt til den lave pris!

Martina is een super gastvrouw, we voelden ons heel erg welkom, ook het ontbijt was top. De locatie was perfect, dichtbij de bushalte, of zelfs te voet doenbaar tot de skilift.

Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat nicht unbedingt gepasst.

Als wir ankamen, waren wir positiv über die Sauberkeit, den Wellnessbereich und über unser schönes, geräumiges Zimmer überrascht!

Leider hatten wir nur ein Mal in der Woche Zimmerservice, obwohl wir das Schild tagelang an der Tür hängen hatten. Auch der Müll wurde so immer mehr und wir hatten keine frischen Handtücher zur Verfügung. Das WLAN funktionierte so gut wie gar nicht, so dass wir reichlich Datenvolumen nachkaufen mussten, obwohl wir eigentlich auch schon mit 20GB gut ausgestattet waren. Beim Frühstück gab es keine frischen Brötchen vom Bäcker, sondern Aufbackbrötchen. Der Aufschnitt variierte, so war er mal besser und an wenigen Tagen eher auf Jugendherbergenniveau mit Wurst und Käse. Im Wellnessbereich wurde sich nicht an das Sauna-Knigge gehalten, sodass die Besucher mit ihrer nassen Schwimmkleidung in die Sauna gingen. Im Pool waren die Kinder teilweise so laut, dass es für die Wellnessgäste keine Entspannung gab. Es sollen Hinweisschilder angebracht werden.

Het was een geweldige vakantie, vriendelijke mensen, prachtige omgeving en super hotel!

Het ontbijt was erg lekker en zeker voldoende. Het was ook niet elke dag hetzelfde wat we zeker apprecieerde.

Het bed vonden we wat minder (hard), maar het wende wel na een paar dagen.
