Amazing stay with the perfect location! The property is conveniently within walking distance of the slopes, making it ideal for skiing at both Zell and Kaprun. The owner was incredible, preparing a delicious homemade traditional breakfast and attending to every detail, all while accompanied by the cutest dog. The area itself is absolutely stunning, and we really appreciated the included sauna and storage, which were very handy after a long day on the slopes. My mum and I had a wonderful time. The town is picturesque with plenty of great places to eat and enjoy après-ski. Truly a 10/10 experience!

The only things to keep in mind are that there is no fridge in the room for storage, and if you want extra tea or coffee, you need to go downstairs.

The breakfast was superb and absolutely delicious. The location was perfect. It was just a short walk from restaurants, cafés, and the town centre.

The property was situated in a perfect location for us to go on the Alpine passes on our motorcycles. The proprietor was so helpful and kind, and the property was beautiful.

Quaint and traditional alpine cottage with great amenities and a passionate owner.

Best hotel experience I've ever had. The owner was extraordinarily kind. She bakes bread from dough made by a local company, and has a wonderful spread for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you would need to enjoy your time in the Alps. I didn't want to leave for the next leg of my trip. Just a truly wonderful experience.

Best 5 vacation days of my life.

I’ve never been to a nicer hotel, on any continent. I’ve also never had a nicer host who made me feel like I’m a part of her family for the duration of my stay. Breakfasts are fantastic, the rooms are comfortable (there’s the calming sound of a stream running behind the hotel), and the hotel is located in the center of one of the most beautiful towns on Earth. I will return.

Beautiful traditional Austrian pension close to the centre

Great location, very close to pedestrian Zell am See and the lift to the Schmittenhohe. The host, Anna was so friendly and welcoming and did her best for our holiday to be perfect. Good breakfast with a choice of different breads, hams and cheeses. Room spacious and very clean with view of the mountains from the window. Free parking is a plus.

Location is good, walking distance to the lake and close to the City Express for a cable ride up the mountain. The host was very nice and gave some good tips.

Small cozy family pension with appropriate comfort. Approach of owner is amazing. Well spent time.

If you are looking for a small pension with the right mountain family atmosphere and comfort ... this is the right place for you in Zell am See. Pension owner has a wonderful personal approach and her recommendations for surroundings are great. We had a well equipped room and bathroom together with a balcony full of flowers and with view to the nearest hill. Pension is located not so far from a town center (but on a well quiet place) and not so far from cableways which will transfer you to the nearest mountains. The lake itself is only a few streets away. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Hotel in this area will give you pass for free public transport. Better spend some days here and surrounding area like grand ice cave and Krimml waterfall. Single room not so big but enough and have a balcony with mountain view.

Clean and nicely situated. Present host when needed.

A bit narrow rooms. No elevator which is tricky with heavy bags. We had a bit weird experience with the host. Check-out time was 10.00, which we didn’t know (and it’s pretty early). 10.05 she knocked on the door and was rather angry that we didn’t leave yet. She could have just told us nicely and we’d packed up rapidly…
