Fantastic stay - I'd happily come again

Lovely and friendly staff, very nice breakfast (although this was added cost), the location was superb for the ski slopes. The room was nicely decorated and maintained and the shower was very hot and very powerful - just what you need after being on the slopes!

The wifi was a bit slow on a few occasions although luckily I had enough mobile data to create a wifi hotpot and access my own wifi from my laptop. It wouldn't be so good for streaming or uploading documents to emails if you didn't have your own wifi connection.

Great hotel, best hosts ever!

Perfect location next to the cityXpress cable ski lift. Very clean and nice room with balcony and a great view. Superb breakfast buffet. The hosts, Beata and Bernd are the best host I have met, always around, ready to help and give informations. We had a fantastic time and if we go skiing again in Zell am See Hotel Pension Hubertus will be our first choice :)

What a perfect place to stay.

Everything about the Hubertus was perfect. The owner and staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the mountain and lake. The location was perfect for the ski lift and was only a couple of minutes' walk from the centre. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff, especially the hosts are the most amazing and kind people I have ever met in any trips. The location is fantastic if you are here for skiing/snowbording, breakfast is good as well.

Sometimes the WiFi is not working very well so connect to your own hotspot if you want to game ;)

Great staff. Perfect location. Amazing breakfast

The owners/staff set this place above others I've stayed in locally. From the extremely warm welcome (including a shot of local schnapps) I knew we'd chosen the right place. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, recently renovated and very comfortable. The location is incredible. Right at the lift station for those who ski, but being a 5 minute walk from the centre means that it's nice and quiet at night. The breakfast was amazing, including freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Lovely fresh breads, cakes, fruit and yogurts were also on offer, with freshly made organic coffee. It was a shame we only booked for 1 night

Besides the wonderful helpful and kind owners, the hotel is next to the beautiful green mountain yet only a few minutes walk to the heart of the historic center with excellent restaurants and another few minutes to the lake.

Very friendly and helpful owners that welcomed us with our small child and even reserved perfect breakfast table for our little boy without us asking for it. Overall amazing experience. Property is located on a strategic spot and you can walk anywhere from it.

Austrian Summer Fun

The hotel owners and staff were really are interested in the hotel and how its run smoothly. The Austrian breakfast was consistently very good along with the service. Location is perfect , quiet but walking distance to everything is 5 mins. The Summer card was a extra bonus which was exceptional value. lido, boat trips, lake cruise, cable cars, and many more all for free. The longer you stay the more things you can do to make it more valuable. Zell am see is lovely in the summer with so much to do.

Fantastic, comfortable stay with great owners!

Lovely staff. Owners were very helpful, personable and on hand for everything. Rooms were spacious with wonderful views. Breakfast was excellent. Location perfect for town and cable car. On site parking a bonus.

Great stay in Zell Am See!

This is a family run hotel and is only about a 5 minute walk from the train station and is right by one of the gondolas that goes partway up the mountain. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The innkeepers are very personable; we enjoyed talking to them and so did everyone else. We did not have nearly enough time to explore and do all the hikes we wanted to so we plan to return and will definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay

- super cozy and very clean room, the space was maximized in our room as to have a lot of storage space, superb breakfast, the hosts were just so friendly and helpful! Quiet area and just near one of the cable cars that take you on the 4 lakes tour, the kaprun summer card was a big plus. Would deff come back

We had a wonderful stay Hotel Pension Hubertus. Everyone at Hotel Pension Hubertus is exceptionally hospitable and friendly. We felt very welcome! The location is excellent, especially if you are traveling without a car. The hotel is very close to important bus stops (bringing you to Schmittenhöhebahn or Kitzsteinhorn) and right next to the CityXPress gondola that brings you halfway up Schmittenhöhe close to the Speicherteich with a lot of beatiful hiking trails. Very nice breakfast buffet. Beds were very comfortable.

Nothing negative to mention here. We had booked a very small room, for a future stay we would probably select a room with balcony.

Great location, cant wait to return

The location is excellent, directly opposite the city express lift and a few minutes walk from the main town with lots of ski hire shops, restaurants and bars. The main bus stop is also about 1 minute walk away for connections to the Kaprun ski area or a direct bus back to the airport. So convenient! Also, the hosts are possibly some of the nicest people we've met, extremely helpful and generous with their time - unusual to meet such genuinely lovely people in the hospitality industry these days!

Excellent location close to the ski lift and within 2 minutes from the restaurants and shops. Extremely nice and professional owners who made me feel very welcome. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view on the mountain tops. Breakfast was delicious. Perfect holiday!

A warm welcome in Zell am See!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Always with a kind greeting. The breakfast was great, with lots of options and fresh, delicious food. Clean, tidy room. Although there was no air-conditioning, the warm weather outside wasn't very noticeable inside the room. It also could be aired sufficiently with the windows. Travelling by train, the location was perfect in distance to both the railway station, the city centre, and the mountains to start hiking.

They were really friendly and inviting! Made you feel like you were right at home. I loved the guy wearing the pajamas every morning making breakfast for everyone. He was really genuine and brought many laughs. They are accommodating to your your every need. Zell am see is a beautiful place and ski lift access is across the street! We had a great stay and won't forget it. Thank you!

adorable hotel run by a lovely family that made our short stay great. Can't wait to return! the hotel is centrally located, 1 min away from the ski lift, 5 mins walk from the town center and 10mins away from the railway station the clean & cosy rooms are furnished with local furniture and have great Mountain View & comfy balconies. the breakfast is carefully prepared for each guest every morning by the lovely hosts, with homemade cakes and freshly cooked eggs. the family runs this hotel is awesome and always smiling making every guests stay relaxing.

I would love to visit Hotel Pension Hubertus once again!

It is right in front of the skiing resort, which saves much time in travelling. There are also rooms for placing the skiing equipment inside the hotel, extra money for renting locker is not required. There is a bar at the outside of the hotel, people can always enjoy a drink right after skiing or celebrating festives together. It is a great stay for skiing. The hotel owner is very caring and kind. The staff attitude is very nice and welcoming. Moreover, there are Netflix, Disney Plus included in the television inside each room!

The owners of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming as were their staff, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and traditional, the breakfast was very nice too. There was good parking in the grounds of the hotel. The location was just a few minutes walk to the town centre and lake. The summer pass provided by the hotel gave access to free busses, attractions and cable cars up the mountains. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

I had a great holiday at Hubertus. Beate and Bernd are the best hosts imaginable! Excellent breakfast, comfy bed, authentic wooden furniture, great location near to the woods and the city center. I will definitely come again here.

Amazing place! I absolutely loved it.

Everything was fantastic! Great location, a really good selection for breakfast, super friendly staff and their wonderful dogs. This hotel is just a few minutes walk from the town centre and train station and right next to one of the gondolas. I was able to use transportation for free, including all the way to the Kitzsteinhorn, because of the summer card that they give you upon arrival. These lovely people upgraded me to a balcony room free of charge which I was very grateful for. The room was spacious and clean and had everything I needed. If you fancy a drink they have an "honesty fridge" where you can take alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks whenever you want and all you do is write what you had and they'll charge it to your room. If you don't like dogs, don't stay here. They have two, very friendly dogs that live in the hotel and I absolutely adore them. I even took one of them for a walk up the mountain! I will definitely be returning and wish I had originally booked more than 3 nights. Amazing place!
