Amazing stay!

Absolutely brilliant! Great location close to ski lift, train station, restaurant and shops. Walking distance from the historic centre and the lake. Limited private parking lots, put bigger public parking nearby. Big, bright and clean room with balcony; all the facilities (ski room, kitchen) and amenities. Welcoming staff. Recommended!

Very cozy and relaxing!

Everything was great and well organised. The ski room is very useful and the kitchen and dining area were very nice and cozy. Also the location is great, just minutes away from restaurants, bus stations and the skislopes. We will definetely come back!

Unfortunately the pillows are extremely soft with no support whatsoever, we had to buy our own.

Fantastic couple of days

Very convenient location from train station and village. Easy walking distance to gondola.Room cosy and comfortable with great balcony views.sent message asking for extra pillows and this was actioned with no fuss.

Coffee machine seemed a bit temperamental...but that could be an age thing😂

Highly recommended budget accommodation

Unbeatable location for easy of transport and access to town. Excellent communal cooking facilities and dining area. Excellent bean-to-cup free coffee machine

Kitchen lacked a few basics: No oven-proof dishes and large cereal bowls rapidly disappeared. No large cups or mugs for hot drinks

Nice and Clean

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are newly furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. The only aspect that could be improved is the communication, as well as offering a simpler option to reserve parking for your vehicle. In the end, however, everything worked out smoothly thanks to the very friendly lady on the phone. Considering the truly fair price, I can recommend a stay here without reservation.

Good facilities but very disorganized at handling costumers.

The location was great. Easy to find. It was clean and the staff was friendly, if a bit abscent. Had some troubles with getting the mobile pass that's included and they were ok to compensate for it. Be ready for the lobby to be completely empty 'cause they don't have anyone on site.

How disorganized the booking was handled. This is something that can destroy someone's vacation as they could be spending hours trying to fix things. For the price they charged they should be better at handling customers. As I was a bit early for check-in I phoned them and got an okay to enter the room early (signs said the room was finished) but the cleaning lady was still there. They incorrectly gave me a parking spot even though I hadn't asked for one (it costs extra). I met other guests in the morning that hadn't been able to check in to their room 'cause they couldn't find the room key the evening before. They had a booking confirmation and everything looked fine. There was also a strong smell sitting in the building walls. Not necessarily a bad smell but it was strong. I had to open all windows to ventilate the room everytime I returned.

Cozy place to stay next to an old town

Location is just a couple of minutes walking distance from old town. Room was clean. They have a separate lounge area with full kitchen equipment.

Beds were so uncomfortable so I had to switch with my kid, to sleep on his bed, to even fall asleep before incoming 1500km trip. It's a bit pity that they charge you extra 10 Euros per night for parking.

The kitchen and lounge and garden are exceptional facilities for a hotel. They are comfortable, very well equipped and kept very clean.

Having laundry facilities (and aircon for these hot summers) would make it a 10.

Too expensive, no air-condition, no one in reception to solve immediate problems. Not reccomended!

The lack of air condition in that level of price is critical. We had to sleep with open windows and than to wake up with first light to close it. This is not the way I expect to sleep in my vacation. In addition, we got such a few soap even after asking specifically for more. I have been in much cheaper hotel, and had so much better condition. Das Zellersee is a way bellow of the standard of normal hotel and definitely of hotels of that price.

Great value, very comfortable

Staff were very helpful. I had to contact a couple of times and all were very quick and responsive. The room was lovely, high standard and felt super comfortable. The balcony with view of the mountain was a bonus! Location was perfect for us as we came by train and used the buses to get around to Kaprun etc… so convenient location.

Just missing real mugs for a cup of tea or coffee, and we heard a lot of noise from the other guests above us overnight but otherwise top notch!

Comfortable, modern room at a great location in Zell am See

The modern, newly renovated rooms and access to the kitchen area in the other house. And location! Right next to the train station!

That there was no cleaning of the room or changing of the towels during our stay. For a four night stay I would expect the room to be cleaned at least ones. There are rarely hotels that don’t do daily cleaning and I did not like this at this hotel.

Terrible 😞

I didn’t like how they treated me at all! 😢 Someone asked me (via what’s up )to give him my credit card number! Before giving me the code for the door!, and he kept me for one hour outside!

The property is ok.. but the staff is very very unwelcoming !! ( I think they did that because I am Arab) This true unfortunately.

Great location in Zell am See, near the train station and Elisabethpark/lake promenade. Easy walking distance to restaurants/bars/shops in town. For a central location, it is great that you can find a hotel with free parking, so you can leave your car at the hotel and walk/hike/cycle around the area. My room was on the top floor with balcony and I could see a little bit of the lake which was amazing. Kettle and small water jugs are provided in the room as well which is a bonus. Good wi-fi. Dog friendly (€10 per day extra). Guests receive a Zell am See "Guest Card" which gave free access to public bus, and 10% discount on Schmittenhöhebahn.

Mattress was a little bit too soft for my liking. Toilet/WC was separate from shower/sink and there was no sink in the toilet to wash hands.

Best place to stay summer or winter.

We booked this apartment night before we left Schruns. What a surprise to find hotel 5mins from railway station and the Lake in centre of Zell. Rooms (2) were spacious and next door to each other with connecting balconies', great. View to left was chair lift up mountain and to right, the lake. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was continental and well stocked.

Nothing it was perfect.
