A really enjoyable and relaxing hotel stay for my family

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is on edge of Old Town area so very handy for shopping, browsing, drinking and cafe stops. Buses linking with all lift areas and regional towns just 150m away. Nearest lift about 350m away up a slight hill, Very good range of options in breakfast buffet. Excellent range of evening meal options each day and varied over the week. Swimming pool and spa facilities excellent.

Breakfast buffet room was a bit too small for the volume of people trying to use it all at once. A problem that probably only exists at half term and Xmas when everyone is trying to get the first ski life to miss the worst of the queues

Excellent family stay in Zell, loved it. Will definitely be back again in the summer and winter.

Ambience / vibe of the hotel was very nice and extremely welcome. All the staff we interacted with - bar, reception, restaurant, cleaners were welcoming and helpful. Even the maintenance guy took time out of his duties to give us a tour of the Spa when I asked him - very helpful and informative (even if I couldn't understand a work he was saying, i got the jist). Rooms clean and well maintained. Location was great - close to bus station, ski lifts and shops - Castle Bar outside in the square was handy.

Purely personal choice, but we preferred the buffet format for the evening meal on arrival day rather rather than the set meal prvided in subsequent nights.

Excellent property!!!

I had an amazing experience at Neue Post. I would say this hotel really made my stay in Zell am See extra special with their hospitality. The staff is kind and courteous. The breakfast is nice. Rooms extremely spacious compared to my expectations and with a great view too. Wellness center, pool, massage are excellent. I'm definitely looking to stay here again in my next trip to this lovely little town. Perfect hotel and location.

Nothing much to complain about! Too little clean glasses in the spa area :-) We were there for skiing, the breakfast is a bit too late for passionate skiers (8am) because we couldn't be first at the slopes. But that is just because I have to write something in this box

We loved everything. The Hotel is so nice renovated and the staff really nice, with a smile on and really involved in helping you. Amazing position , in the lovely city center, absolutely amazing breakfast and extra point for the restaurant/kitchen staff. Rooms spacious, comfortable, clean and modern. 100% a very nice stay

I don't often leave 10/10 ratings but I feel this hotel deserves it as the price/quality/package was amazing. Staff members - Helpful, friendly. Room - comfortable, great shower Breakfast - amazing, special mention to the smoked fish Spa - Finnish sauna great, other saunas and pools available as well. Just a great overall experience at price (in October) that seemed to compare favourably to other hotels in the area.

A wonderful experience – highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay! The location is perfect, right in the center, making it very convenient for exploring. Our room was spacious and comfortable, just right for a week’s stay. The hotel has been recently renovated, which made everything feel fresh and modern. The restaurant exceeded our expectations – the half-board option offered amazing cuisine every evening. The spa area was excellent, perfect for relaxing after a day out. During our stay, there was live music and even a disco party, which made the evenings fun and lively – great entertainment included! On top of that, we received a mobility ticket as a gift, giving us free access to all public transport in the region – such a thoughtful extra. Overall, a wonderful experience – highly recommended!

If we had to mention one small minus, it would be the lack of a minibar in the room – but this was only a minor detail compared to everything else. Overall, a wonderful experience – highly recommended!

Pleasant

Friendly check-in staff. David spoke many languages and dialects. Very impressive. Location was right in the heart of town in walking distance to the lake, train station, shops and restaurants. Pool area is a quiet and beautiful oasis.

Room was small and needed to be updated. No shampoo in room. All guests and family should be able to join the breakfast. Upgrade rooms when available? Please include parking for guests! Why should guests pay extra for parking?

Staff member impacted stay. Good location and comfortable rooms.

The bed was comfy and liked the location too

The outdoor pool and spa are cold, so is the indoor spa and it’s only opened from 3pm-7pm everyday. I think the outside pool may be opened all day but 3pm-7pm is what we were advised on check in. Sadly, one staff member is the reason for the low score. He was rude on arrival, I had to ask him for guest passes and he gave us no information about the hotel/wrong information, he wouldn’t lift his head whenever we would go to the desk to ask a question, and basically showed guests are annoying him. Our flight was cancelled, so we extended for one more night (the lady that helped us was very nice), however the rooms don’t have milk or a fridge to buy milk and store it. We went to the bar to see the male staff member outside smoking with a friend. We waited, and when he came in we asked for milk. When we got back to the room we noticed our tea wasn’t replenished. My husband, reluctantly, went downstairs to ask him for 2 tea bags. He tried to charge my husband €9 for 2 teabags - he didn’t even offer to make the tea for us, it was just 2 teabags in his hand. My husband asked if we could have the tea that is usually provided in the room, and he said ‘no, once you run out that’s it’. This is a lie as our tea was replenished everyday, plus this was a new booking due to our flight cancellation. The restaurant behind him had plenty of tea provided at breakfast, so he could’ve simply grabbed some for us but he was with his friends talking in the bar. I then went downstairs, in my pyjamas, to see the member of staff and his friends laughing at me. I asked him to please just give us 2 teabags as housekeeping didn’t replenish them in the room. He argued with me for a little bit and I had to remind him that we had paid close to €800 for our stay. The stay would’ve been ok if it wasn’t for people like him working in customer service using guests to take out his frustrations.

Everything. Location of hotel, parking availability for the motorbike, friendliness of staff, facilities in the room, breakfast was included and offered cold and hot buffet. Kettle with tea and coffee in the room also.

Nothing, although the hotel room didn't have air con which may be an issue in the height of summer - we were lucky to have mild days and nights so this was not an issue.

we loved the location near to the City Express lift and to the bus stop for skiing in other areas we loved the saunas and jacuzzi the staff were amazing - especially at check in and Janus in the restaurant we loved the breakfasts and dinners too - much better than we were expecting!

the interior is a bit dated but we didn’t mind that and liked the vibe

Great location, excellent staff

Really great hotel, very close to both the town and the City Xpress ski lift and bus stop for access to other lifts/resorts. The staff were excellent, really couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant staff were particularly good. Half board was a great choice, good breakfast selection and really nice dinners - actually surpassed expectations. Spa is a fab extra feature and not very busy. We had an issue with our room but we were moved to a new one easily and the staff were really good about it. Highly recommend.

Spa… and arrangements there. I actually felt rather unsafe: altough I have been wearing swim suit in the sauna multiple times in different spas, this was the first time I was approached by several men (different occasions) that I should take the swim suit off. One of them even said that he (and his wife) can make me feel very uncomfortable. As the guidance from the hotel, is in fact, request to take the swim suit off, I feel that there is very limited possibilities to do anything different. How can any hotel require people being naked in the sauna?!

A comfortable, convenient hotel for a family ski break.

Comfortable, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Good for skiers. Equipment storage room. Close to bus stops, ski schools and the slopes. Close to restaurants and shops.

The pool can only be accessed by walking outside already in swimwear. It’s really an outdoor pool with a cover.

Good location, close to the City Express gondola.

Room too hot and no way to control the temperature. Street traffic was very loud if one opened the window. Food was average.

great location, fabulous staff. we will be back!

Stayed half board with a group of 10 skiing for the week everyone was very happy with the hotel and location. The spa was great and welcome after skiing all day. The staff very friendly especially Janoe (hope I spelled that right!) and the bar man. walking distance to the ski lifts, half board wasn’t too expensive and tasty food, hotel organised it so we all sat together without asking. we defo want to return next year!
