Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean. A good find.

For the price we paid it was and excellent place with comfy beds, clean rooms, great breakfast and super-friendly breakfast lady who yodelled for us. Extras like sauna and coffeemachine were well used.

Electronic check-in with 12 people was a bit of a pain but was a small price to pay. Half the sofa bed in one room was unuseable (metal bar under it) but we worked around it. Pillows not so great. Small things only.

Very bad service and a dirty property that I wouldnt recommend to anyone

Nothing was liked, I was so disappointed with the property that was dirty and bad odor was everywhere

I didn’t like it at all, staff were not helpful and aggressive and the property was dirty as soon as arrived we were shocked with the bad odor in the breakfast area and then the WC and toilet which were dirty

For this price there should be at least a kettle in the room. Given the fact that there is enough place for it. Minibar would be great as well, but not mandatory. Yes, you can buy glass of hot water for several euros in the vending machine in the kitchen, but it's really ridiculous. And there is no instruction about it, so It wasn't obvious at all.

Amazing scenery in a stunning location and a great base to travel from to fully enjoy the area

Zell am See is a great location with lots around to do. The breakfast served was a great way to start the day. The new Guest card that is provided for all stay in Saltzberger land was great for getting around with free transport on Trains, buses and trams.

It was not clear at booking that this accommodation is not part of the Zell am See - Kaprun card scheme that provides travel on the lake and up the cable car. The hotel is located on the busy through road in Zell and the traffic noise meant we could not leave our windows open at night to cool down. It was very hot when we were there and the room heated up alot.

Pleasant

The view was amazing. The room was clean and probably had the best view in the whole hotel. The bed was firm. Self check in is a good idea.

Self check in was a bit complicated: a lot of emails, extra costs, a lot of personal and irrelevant information was required. Worst part was the train a few meters away, squealing under the window and waking us in the night. No elevator! (or we missed it?)

The accommodation was nice in an attractive place, although the street is quite noisy.

OK, problem with contactless accommodation... The electricity went out in our room in the evening. I tried to call a number which I found in the confirming email, texting to another number found on key box, sending message through Booking app. No one answered, (not even the next day..) So, unfortunately, we spent the evening in the dark.. OK, one day it can be managed, although it is not comfortable at all (maybe you also need to charge your phone or other devices etc...) but I wonder if we stayed longer, would we have got help anywhere? It was not a pleasant experience.

The location was superb, near 100 meters to lake, city center, and everything. the contactless check in and check out system is perfect and no stress which time you arrive.

No parking on site at all. I was told that I could park down the street as public parking was free til 10:00am. First off the parking was full and I had to park a good distance from the hotel. Then parking was only free til 8:00am and I got a ticket. The light when you first come into the room didn’t work at all. The one light switch is actually behind the headboard and hard to get to. Also the shower gel/shampoo dispenser didn’t work and the shower didn’t drain very well. Since nobody is on site, I had to contact the property manager to find out what the wifi password was because this wasn’t provided. I’ve been traveling Europe for the past few weeks and this is honestly the only place I would not stay again.
