Great location, great breakfast, great hotel overall!

Wonderful location, and the breakfast spread was superb; not to mention a wonderful dinner option. You really can't ask for a better hotel in Zell am See.

Location spot on

The location was spot on, walk 150m from the hotel and you're on the ski lift, while also being right in the middle of town where all the restaurants are. Room was an excellent size and daily house keeping were great.

With a great location comes quite a bit of sound at night and it got quite warm in the room. Would have been nice to lower the temp in the room without needing to open the window to support the sleep. The fire alarm went off twice and also people knocking loudly on front doors overnight caused rough sleeps. Would have been great to have a kettle in the room for warm drinks.

Great location, close to ski lift and ski bus stop (5 min on foot), right in the town center. The room was clean and spacious, great facilities.

Quality food, nice room, a bit pricey

Central location, good variety of spa facilities and saunas (infrared sauna, for example) for a small hotel, cleanliness, delicious breakfast with a huge selection. Very tasty à la carte restaurant at the hotel with inspiring staff.

The main street is very noisy because of the cars, so it's impossible to air the room at night. But it's not a problem specific to this hotel. The seating arrangement at breakfast seemed strange and a bit disappointing: I couldn't choose a seat in the room, the hotel assigned it itself.

Great location, and the accommodation we were given was massive it was like a two bedroom flat (without a kitchen)

Friendly staff in top quality hotel, centrally located and good value for money

Room was very spacious and would suit if staying more than one night for a couple. Big bathroom with bath. Room was quiet even though street close by. Bed very comfortable with nice linen. Also got to use the sauna which was a bonus. Staff very helpful and welcoming. I had the breakfast which had an extensive choice and good quality

Very central and nice hotel.

The breakfast was very rich, the spa area was exactly what we needed after a day on the slopes. Thanks to the hotel for robes, towel, anything that you could need. All the staff were very friendly, gave discounts for ski equipment. The bar has exquisite sprits. You must try the snaps from the stags horns.

Amazing central location, everything reachable on foot in a few minutes. There were plenty of options for breakfast and everything was delicious.

My room was facing the main road of the village, and there was quite a bit of traffic even in the evening and night. Because it was a bit hot i kept the window open and the traffic noise was a bit annoying.

Alpine Paradise

The hotel is very good. Nice cozy rooms and very warm atmosphere. Exceptional restaurant!

The summer days during our stay were quite hot and there are no airconditioners in the rooms. It was extremely hot and stuffy during the nights. Because of the street noise outside it is also impossible to keep the windows open. Also I would highly recommend to add an electric kettle in the room. Late at night or early in the morning you can't have any hot beverages.

Fabulous place to stay

Welcoming greeting, great being able to park right at the hotel. Very comfortable room and fantastic location right in the old town. Did not have breakfast, however we ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was very tasty.

My stay was not as expected, I book a hotel to get comfortable but in this hotel I get more tired.

The only thing is good of this hotel is location

First, when I arrive to make my check in I didn’t find anyone in the reception, the reception is so small and smells of dogs, there’re dogs everywhere. I wait for 5 min. until the lady came to check in. The weather was rainy and I ask for help because I have a lot of luggage’s and I have a baby; the one lady told me to pick it up by myself. Although, the elevator is too small and tight and smells bad also, the corridor as well. The elevator is on a stairs it’s not comfortable if you have strollers. Then, there’s no water kettle or coffee machine. I tried to call the reception many times but no answer, which forced me to go down to get it by myself. Unfortunately, I booked for 1 week in the hotel, I have complained to booking and try to refund but the hotel did not accept it. They replied to booking that they will offer us free upgrade room, but they told me that I will be charged for upgrade.. I make my check out after 5 nights instead of 7 nights, when I make the check out they offer me the free upgrade! After this, they charged me for parking, city fees, my baby stay without informing me when I make my check in, I was not noted about any more charges. They charge me extra taxes (city fees) while I already pay it in booking. they didn’t care even that I have checked out early, they prepare the bell and that set. they charged my baby breakfast per day although we did not eat in their restaurant unless the first day.

A wonderful hotel and staff!

The staff was so wonderful. Jasmine was a big help when we checked in and during our stay. There was some confusion with my booking through the website with our child not being included and they fixed it and made sure it wasn’t a problem. They even noticed it was my birthday and had our breakfast table decorated! The hotel is in a great location and you have everything you need in short walking distance (the lake, shopping, ski slope gondola, etc.) I would highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Lovely traditional Austrian experience
