Pleasant hotel in the centre of town close to all amenities

Typical old Austrian chalet style hotel. Big, but not corporate. Friendly staff.

Good breakfast, including gluten-free. Right in town centre. Historic property with lovely old bar. 10 minutes walk to train station. 5 minutes walk to lake.

Some street noise at night, but that’s because it was a Saturday night & the town was busy, also the weather was hot so most people were eating & drinking outside. No noise coming from landing outside bedroom as there are two doors in between.

A delightful, classic Austrian hotel with modern amenities and very helpful staff. I had way too many logistics questions because I needed to leave a bag before dawn. But they were graceful and helpful in sorting it out. Surprisingly large room with modern bathroom.

Being in the center of town, outside noise from the outdoor restaurants and bars can be a bit loud. But with heavy walls and good windows, it can easily be blocked. I actually liked the 'vibe' hearing people having fun until I closed the window to go to bed.

Great hotel, located right in the centre of Zell

Hotel location is excellent, just off the main square, and 5 mins walk to CityExpress lift or bus station. Vey close to main restaurants, bars, lake etc. Good breakfast, and the Stubl is a great little bar.

Good coffee machine at breakfast, but could do with another one, long queues for it, but worth it for decent coffee.

From the lady at reception last night to the lady at breakfast everything was superb, warm greetings and superbly professional, hotel and rooms old world charm yet modern nuanced also, fantastic centre location too. Thank you to all the staff, exceptional 12 out of 10! And that’s not a typo I mean it

The employees are very friendly, helpful, always with a smile. The location is very convenient, you can walk everywhere from there. The rooms were cleaned every day. It's nice that the breakfast table is always the same, so you don't have to think about where to sit. The breakfast itself is quite varied.

Internet could be a little better. Went on and off sometimes, did not work by the window.

Nice and new. Good location

Location, helpful and friendly staff, lift, near railway station, quiet, new. Big thanks to the African male that helped me get my pendant after it fell behind the cabinet in an awkward spot. He certainly went out of his way for me and finally I got it back. It was my lucky charm.

No kettle or fridge in room. Rooms a bit small - but managed ok. Modern Shower was a bit difficult to turn on but got there eventually.

Fabulous location for ski-ing and enjoying Zell.

Fantastic location in the centre of Zell, 5 mins walk from CityXpress lift. Excellent WiFi, good breakfast, plenty of hot water for the showers. Very helpful staff. Sport Stubel is a nice bar, always busy, worth spending some time in.

Bed is a bit soft. That’s about it really, nothing else to change.

The hotel is right at the center of the town and is easy to reach from the train station. The hotel has an old-time charm and the staff is very friendly. We were lucky to get the room at the top, with the balcony directly looking at the church and the surroundings mountains.

The location is great at the center of Zell am See. Also the breakfast is solid, there is a lot to choose from and a table is reserved.

The room can get pretty warm and the sanitary is a bit outdated (perfect functional though).

-location is really great and near the lake(5 mins) with competitive price especially u will got the Zell Am see card along with ur stay -room clean and cosy -staff are so welcoming and cooperative ( Lila and Careen you are the best ) -they welcome you with smile and chocolate present upon arrival big thanks to Careen and Lila you have shown the value of ur country and hotel

The breakfast was ok with some cold and hot dishes. The hotel is centrally located in the town.

Very old and outdated hotel. The walls are very thin and not soundproofed. WiFi was terrible, it stopped working continuously. Some personnel was not so friendly and didn’t even bother to say hello.

The hotel is located in the very center of Zell, an ideal location for people who appreciate the proximity of monuments, walking routes or the center itself. From the room you can not hear the sounds of the street - our windows overlooked the parking lot so it was quiet. we appreciate fresh, crispy bread for breakfast, fresh products and nice staff at the reception and in the restaurant, we highly recommend it!

Excellent hotel with excellent staff. The reception staff was very kind and very helpful. Thank you! The hotel is situated in the town center, few minutes far from the lake and from the railway station. Single room is not large, but has good amenities: two beds, large window, good shower. Very clean, very good breakfast. Sanitary measures to stop Covid 19 were very good. I felt very safe. Zell am See card provided offers many free possibilities for cable cars, buses, swimming pools, boat trips. The hotel has own indoor and outdoor restaurant. There are many restaurants and shops in the vicinity.

The room doesn`t have a balcony .
