Friendly, comfortable accommodation with beautiful views, generous breakfasts, excellent location.

Pension Margarete is an extremely friendly and cozy place to stay. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the view from the window was particularly beautiful. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, providing an ideal start to the day. A particular advantage is that the ski lift is only about 100 meters away, so the slopes can be reached quickly and easily. I can only recommend it! :)

Life is Good

The place is well maintained and the family is very kind and welcoming. The view of the front rooms are over the top especially at night at the balcony its very quiet and beautiful view of the moon and sound of the water flowing in the river next to the hotel its therapeutical. The location is on the higher part of zel am see hence You get very beautiful views. Next to the hotel there is station for the bus as well for cable cars and many other activities and you get the kaprun card so all these services and activities are free.

Very good

The guesthouse is in a great location, close to the lifts, you can ski back almost in front of the entrance. The guesthouse is clean, cosy and quiet. The staff is very helpful, friendly and smiling. It is 2 km to the town centre and the lake. I definitely recommend the guesthouse.

Bad bus connections in the evening during winter (not the hotels fault). Would've loved a dietary breakfast option (maybe by additional cost) but it wasn't expected.

Superb location, only 100m from Schmitten lifts. Friendly owner and staff, good wifi, clean room we had. Easy parking and excellent quality, variety of breakfast ! Summercard saved us roughly 300€ during 4 days with free entries. Will come back for sure !

As the house is big, takes some time to get the hot water from boiler, but not a real issue.

Perfect

The atmosphere was very friendly and the room with the balcony was very cozy. We enjoyed simple yet very good breakfast. The staff were helpful and everything was exceptionally clean. The pension looked exactly as advertised.

Erika and Bjorn are great hosts, they are warm and welcoming, location of the hotel is excellent. I would like to thank Erika for providing us with Summer Card which made our stay even more pleasant.

Breakfast was a bit limited for example no warm/hot food and there was no other meat apart from pork.

Nice quite location being very close to main ski lift and nice view to valley.

Considering main road to the Schmittel ski lift the last bus only goes up at 18.15 during winter months. It wasn't issue for me and my daughter to walk up after dinner but it would be nice if local bus company would intruduce some evening bus servise for tourist staying along that road.

Great place

Pension Margarete is a very warm and welcoming place. Staff is absolutely great, very helpful and always smiling. Breakfast is nice, especially when you eat it out on the terrace. Rooms are nice and cozy, very clean, loved the balcony. We liked the location (out of the town center), it was quiet both during the day and night. Perfect place for resting if you ask me, highly recommended and would stay there again.

Super Lage, tolle Unterkunft

Tolle Lage direkt an der Piste, wenige Meter von der Liftstation entfernt. Zimmer einwandfrei, ordentliches Frühstück.

Leider gibt es kaum eine Möglichkeit in der näheren Umgebung ein Gasthaus / Restaurant zu finden, dafür kann aber die Unterkunft nichts.
