B&B by Zillners

Very close to the the Center zone Peaceful place and excellent staff !

We stayed at B&B by Zillners in Zell am See and sadly had a poor experience overall. While most staff were kind and helpful, the day-shift male receptionist was noticeably unfriendly, and we avoided seeking help when he was on duty. Key issues: No Wi-Fi in the room. Despite repeated requests, the issue was not resolved. Most concerning, when I contacted B&B by Zillners through Booking.com’s messaging system to report the Wi-Fi issue, they responded with an inaccurate statement blaming us for having incompatible devices, instead of taking responsibility. The room was very small, the bed sheets were too short for adults, and the toilet was in terrible condition. Toiletries were not provided, contrary to what was listed on the Booking.com website. Only soap and tissue were available. No complimentary water, tea, coffee, or kettle. We only got a kettle after asking. Only one key is provided per room, and the main entrance to the building requires that key to get back in. The room door is not self-locking, which creates a security and access problem if one guest leaves with the key. No in-room communication with reception. You must walk to another building for assistance. The hotel photos on Booking.com are misleading and don’t reflect reality. Hence, I am requesting that Booking.com review this hotel’s listing for accuracy. The location is far from the town centre, with limited options nearby, especially at night. Zell am See is a beautiful place, but I would not stay at B&B by Zillners again and do not recommend it.

Location, staff, room When we arrived there was nobody at the reception and they left the key in front of the door for us. The room was very narrow. The location is very far from the center. When we asked about the cattle they answered me that there is nobody at the reception now.

Very clean and cosy, view is very nice

The location is very high in mounting and after the buses stop working and last bus is early so you have to walk ascending and my wife have heart problems

Great please for a budget stay in the hills. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is clean. You need car or you should take a bus to get to the lake and the Altstadt.

Excellent breakfast spread, almost too much to chose from. Good access to ski lift. Good facilities for ski storage.

Quite a long way from town with a good bus service. This only runs until 6.00pm and it's over a mile uphill if you miss it. Would have been nice to have had a mini fridge in the room as there wasn't a balcony to keep the beers cold!

Great location to walk to the lifts in the morning. Nice Saunas in the spa area. Good morning breakfast also, and friendly staff.

The room would sometimes smell of smoke, and the ski bus into town didn’t run after 6.20pm which left us with a long walk every evening, although on the timetable said it did during the summer months.

The summercart, breakfast are surprised us. We love it. Also we had nice view
