Lovely stay in Skadar Lake area

Very nice people. Good aircon, comfortable beds, nice terrace. Great pancakes. Washing machine had broke so host lady washed a load for us!!

Super comfortabel place!

Super cosy place, clean, good rooms, and a great terrace view on the mountains. It is near to the small virpazar trainstation. Which is perfect if you travel by public transport. The host family is super friendly and helpful with information. I stayed longer than plannend. Very relaxing.

Perfect cozy apartment with lovely hosts

Lovely host, especially two sons who were like pros giving us info about staying and made us feel welcomed. We enjoyed homemade treats both evenings and our son played with younger boy and friends in nearby football field. Worth to take the boattrip to Skadar early in the morning. Great accommodation with very friendly hosts and hosts friends good tips about area after boatride.

cosy and homely place to stay to explore lake skadar

The apartment is cute and cosy with a lovely garden area and a nice view! a great option for exploring lake skadar. the owner and her son are really kind and brought us tasty homemade treats. We did the boat tour that you can arrange directly via the apartment with Ilya and it was amazing, he was also great at making our stay enjoyable as we didn’t have a car so we easily organised some fun activities via him. Its only about 10mins walk into the town you just have to cross the railway track at a certain point (there are barely ever trains coming by) and enter town that way to avoid the main road.

We came from the train station so we were on foot - following google maps means you end up walking on the fast main road where there is no pavement but if you are on foot there is a safer way to walk via the lower roads. with that entrance it means the apartment is only about 2mins away from the station which is great.

Good place for one night.

Good location and free parking near Lake Skadar. Very helpful staff. He helped us activate a new SIM card and offered us a lake trip.

I had a big problem finding this place. The only logo with the name of this place is on a small gate that is open all the time. Weak wifi signal. The kitchen was old with many traces of use. Shower drain is a problem, while taking a shower you stand in water.

The location was amazing (near both the train station & the entrance to the national parks) and the house was very well furnished, with some coffee, tea, fruit and all the electrical appliances (including multiplugs) that any traveller could need :-)

we struggled slightly to find the property but we arrived late at night with no lights so that might have been why

The accommodation is located in a nice place near Lake Skadar. Check-in went smoothly and the apartment was clean and nice. It was possible to flood, but it was cold at night. Warmer blankets we would be appreciated, but that's just an addition. We were only here for one night and we liked everything.

Best hosts and lovely and cute place

cute little house in a great location. The host was very kind and greeted us with drinks for all the family and then treated us to some lovely crepes. Her two sons are extremely charming and helpful and they made sure we all had bikes to enjoy a lovely family ride. The barbecue area is also lovely and we were able to spend some nice days together as a family.

Beautiful apartment with amazing hosts

Our little host Petar was amazing. He couldn't do enough for us. It goes for the rest of family as well. They are all very polite, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. It is very beautiful apartment with great location and relatively easy to find. They have gathered all important information about local attractions and it is very well presented.

Very close to Virpazar if you have a car. The house is big and well equipped. They give the option of using their bicycles. The host and her son are very kind.

The stairs to reach the apartment are not very convenient if you have luggage. Bring mosquito repellent. Location is not showing right

lovely stay, enjoyed it a lot.

host was very nice, she also owns a supermarket which is 1 mins walk, train station is 2 mins walk, you can also walk to the city center which is about 15 mins. Property itself is nice and clean, bed is comfortable, you have everything you need for a lovely stay. Theres also a terrace and you can sit down in the evening and enjoy your complementary wine from the host. highly recommended.

Lovely apartment with everything you need at 2 minutes walking distance from Virpazar station. It was clean, and I liked having the terrace with its great views

it’s nicer to stay in the village itself (near the harbour/boat tours) I think. it’s only a 1 kn walk now, but along a busy 60km road without a side walk. Took a taxi once but those are hard to find…

A lovely stay with lovely hosts!

Really lovely apartment with stunning views and second-to none hospitality! Only a 3 min walk from the train station and a 10 min walk / 5 min bike ride to Virpazar centre (although this is on a very dodgy highway). They offer free bicycles which is a great selling point! The hosts were all so lovely and even baked us a cake! The wi-fi wasn’t the best but it’s to be expected when staying somewhere so rural Would 100% come back here!

Such lovely hosts who went above and beyond - they met me at the station despite my very late evening arrival, they carried my heavy suitcase up all the stairs, dropped off a delicious cake the next afternoon, and helped come up with a solution when I didn't have enough cash to pay and the only ATM in town had run out of money (Warning: this apparently happens a lot and many businesses expect cash payments so come to Virpazar with plenty of cash!). I'm really so grateful for their kindness, especially for me as a solo traveller. The apartment itself was comfortable with all necessary amenities. The WiFi was very fast - perfect for anyone remote working. Located just around the corner from the train station, it's a bit of a dodgy walk along a main road / the train line to get to the town centre, but I actually preferred not staying in the very touristy part and it's only a 10-15min walk. All in all, I highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very very nice place to stay. The family is very sweet, caring and helpful. She makes delicious breakfast. The accomodation was very big and nice with a beautiful terrace to sit outside. Bicycles available was a big plus for us, we like to cycle around (be careful while cycling from the town to the appartement in the dark though). We would definitely recommend this place.

Super nice apartment, beautiful, clean and tidy. You'll have everything you need (air conditioning, washing machine, well equiped kitchen, spacious bathroom and beautifull/confortable living room). Our host was very warmfull and welcoming with many very kind attentions from cold lemonade when you arrive to some nice pieces of cake during the stay ☺️ The location is also very good as it's a nice 10mins walk from the city center with all the pubs and restaurants, boat tours... Definitely a must 👌

The best hosts we ever had in our years of travel

My boyfriend and I travel approximately 5-8 times a year and NEVER were we hosted by anyone as kind as Daliborka and her family. She was always very available..I was feeling slightly off,she brought me pain killers,all restaurants were closed on new year's eve,she made us dinner fit for a king ❤ She gave us all info,the apartment was super clean and huge for what we expected, very modern and super equipped. I cannot find words to describe my experience in Virpazar,it was more than just 'beautiful'.
