Excellent homely experience.it is like staying with family

The apartment was spacious and had beautiful views over the mountains. The home cooked food was well prepared by Andjela and the ingredients came from her gardens which were abundant with fresh vegetables. Andjela and her family are really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The property is on the other side of a main road and railway tracks. These have to be crossed to get to the path into the village and the lake.

Great accommodation with a wonderful host!

Good location with great views and lots of wildlife around to spot! Clean, spacious room with brilliant air conditioning. Incredible food made to order at a time that suited us. Great boat tour…provided by owners son and she kindly drove us to the boat. They also have an amazing way to get your luggage up the hill!

You have to cross a busy main road to get to town. Take your time! Struggled to buy bottled water (they ran out) but shop very close by in town. Ask for what you want and they will gladly provide it…food, drink, boat tour, recommendations etc (but if you don’t ask, you don’t get). The address in booking.com didn’t work but the property name came up easily in google maps and took us directly to the accommodation.

The host was super friendly and when we couldn't find the place - she came to the end of the road to wait for us to drive by. She also arranged a boat trip for us with her son, which was brilliant! It was a really lovely apartment with a nice view from the lovely balcony.

It was a bit difficult to get the temperature right with the A/C at first - as there was one bed lower down in the room and one higher up - but we worked it out. Also - you have to cross the main road to get to the village, which was fine for us - but would have been a challenge with younger children.

Very friendly host and apartment in a beautiful location.

Beautiful location!! Friendly helpful host!! Boat tour available on Lake Skadar and the host drove us there. The host also gives you the option of ordering home cooked food for breakfast and dinner - very tasty!! Our apartment had everything we needed upon arrival and was very clean. We have been traveling around Montenegro and this was the nicest place we stayed on our trip!! It was very picturesque and beautiful.

Beautiful place to stay with hosts that go above and beyond

The hospitality was second to none, my host family went out of their way to help me on so many occasions. Dinner and breakfast were great, views spectacular and I had no issues at all walking into the centre - indeed the back route is rather beautiful. The boat trip offered was a particular delight and I would strongly recommend as it’s so much better in a smaller boat with more privacy and ease of getting into smaller channels on the beautiful lake. All in all a lovely stay and would highly recommend

Nice clean apartment. The balcony was very sunny with a good view. About 8 minutes walk to town (though it was tricky to cross the busy road). Lovely family running the place. Great value.

The bathroom smelled of drains so we kept the door shut.

Perfect stay with perfect services

This was probably the best stay we had in Montenegro. The location is perfect, so nice and serene. View from the terrace is absolutely wonderful, plenty of space for parking. The apartments are well equipped and have everything you could possibly need for your stay, even some tea and coffee. Bed is comfy too. I highly recommend booking breakfast - it was amazing and for a great price! The host and her sons were super nice and helpful, communication before and during the stay was easy. We booked the boat tour with the older son and were amazed by his knowledge of the lake and birds. The boat was also super comfy and clean. Thank you so much for the best rest! We hope to come back for longer next time🥰

Lovely stay by the lake

-Cool spacious apartment -Lovely host family, good communication -Hosts have their own boat for Lake Tours-we had a lovely experience with them-do enquire about it.

-Access to the apartment is challenging, you park at the bottom of the hill and walk up the hill & steps. Help was given with luggage, which was very much appreciated -To access the lake, you need to cross a busy main road, a railway track and down a path. This wasn’t an issue for us as a group of adult’s however important to note of travelling with children. The route was not the most comfortable at night time but the main house with apartments was well lit. -Shower in apartment needs a curtain or a screen as water goes everywhere

Tranquil escape

Tranquil escape from business. Comfortable room with aircon, fridge, very basic cooking facilities (which we didn't utilise). Great value for money breakfast (6 euros pp) and a lovely view on the communal decking overlooking lots of greenery. Easy 5 minute walk to Virpazar. Snezana was very nice and her & her husband even helped us clean our rental car before returning it to the airport.

No negatives about the accommodation itself. We could have happily stayed more than 2 nights at Apartments Andela but there really isn't much to do in Virpazar. Would recommend a wine tasting experience (we went to Eco Resort Cermeniza for 10 euro pp) and a boat tour +/- kayaking.

Good base location for exploring lake Scadar.

Lovely location, well furnished apartment. Owners were very kind. Breakfast was very tasty and massive.

Took us a while to find the apartment in the dark.Sat nav took us to the wrong place including into Virpazar which was wrong. Access track was about 300m past the Virpazar turning on opposite side of road, up the hill and lit up. We should have spent more time beforehand working out exactly where it was.

We had a sort of attic room, lovely and cosy (but it takes several stairs to enter, take into account). Nice small balcony. Generous breakfast.

We were unable to find out how to turn the lights off :) Being quite tired, slept well anyway but probably the guests need special instructions about it. Also kkep in mind that the hotel is a bit away from the city itself, it's like 3 minutes by car and maybe 10 minutes by feet but the road is not safe for pedestrians.

The room was large and bright, and we had a beautiful balcony with a view of the lake. The hosts were really welcoming, and the place was lovely. Breakfast was also great. Sad we couldn't stay longer!

It is quite noisy outside and with the window open, as you can hear cars from the nearby expressway and trains that run quite frequently. Unpleasant smell from the sewage system in the bathroom, especially in the evening and at night.

Amazing place with a great host.

Our host is a wonderful woman, she took care of us. We had a possibility to visit a winery and try local wine they make by themselves. We also decided to order a breakfast which was a great choice. The breakfast was big and delicious, made of local products and traditional recepies. I think experience of staying there has to be amazing while the weather is good, because usually they serve a breakfast outside on beautiful terrace. Unfortunately when we were there it was raining, so we barely could see the lake.

Just a small disadvantage - there was almost no space in a bathroom to leave your staff.

Amazing, comfy apartment with kind host, close to the beauty of the lake

Lovely, kind, attentive host who met us when we first arrived and showed us to our room. Beautiful view from a big, clean balcony. Apartment was big! Small kitchen had almost all we needed (just missing 1 more bowl to make 2 for the pair of us!). Comfy, cosy bed. Plenty of towels and provided us extra when we asked. Breakfast and dinner on offer looked good, although we ate out / brought our own breakfast. Close to local wineries and Virpazar town and Lake Skadar.

Not the fault of the host, but something to be mindful of - slightly scary walk into Virpazar from the apartment. It is about 9 mins walk on the edge of a dual carriageway with cars going 70 kmph, with no pavement. Just need to keep your wits about you! Host said the normal, safer path was currently having work done to it. Of course you can always drive into Virpazar but it is very small so can be difficult to park.
