Idyllic Cabin Surrounded by Majestic Mountains

This place is in a beautiful spot, just a short drive from the airport. It’s surrounded by mountains and has a lovely outdoor area that’s great for relaxing. The setting is peaceful and quite romantic, perfect for a couple looking for a quiet getaway. Additionally, the boat trip around Lake Skadar made the trip truly memorable.

Better than the beach: the mountain escape you didn’t know you needed

Hey traveler, if you’ve been looking for the perfect place — stop right here, you’ve just found it. Imagine this rare gem: a secluded mountain cottage that’s actually accessible even without a car. Just a 30-minute train ride from Podgorica to Virpazar, followed by a 15–20 minute walk — and you’re there. You can easily walk to Virpazar for restaurants, and if you need something urgently, there’s a gas station with a mini-market just minutes away. But the real magic begins once you arrive. Total silence. No traffic, no tourists — just nature and you. Birds singing, swallows flying overhead, turtles strolling through the grass, dragonflies buzzing, and mountain air so fresh it makes your head spin in the best way. The cottage itself is a dream. Everything is thoughtfully curated and made with care — nothing “just for show,” but rather warm, cozy, and full of charm. Beautiful dishes, lovely decor, and even multi-point lighting that’s been designed to the smallest detail. It’s an eco-friendly house with stylish wooden furniture made from real logs — think “modern forest cottage” rather than “old ranger’s hut.” Traveling with a dog, like I was? There’s a dog bed and bowls. Coming with a baby? There’s a crib and a baby bath. Every need has been anticipated. Outside, there’s a private terrace, a barbecue area, and an unforgettable view. To welcome us, a bottle of homemade rakija and cold beers waited in the fridge. Later, the host Ivan brought us his own homemade wine — and it was amazing! Ivan was always available, checking in to make sure we were comfortable. He also offers boat rides, kayaking on Lake Skadar, and can organize breakfast if you’d like. This is a place where time slows down, where local hospitality shines, and where you don’t have to sacrifice a single bit of comfort. Trust me — you won’t find anything like this, at this price, anywhere else in Montenegro… or maybe even in all of Europe.

Très agréable !

Le logement est un petit havre de paix, au milieu de la nature et au calme ! Très confortable avec tout ce qu’il faut ! Ivan est un hôte très accueillant, il nous a organisé une balade en bateau sur le lac et nous a recommandé de supers restaurants ! Je recommande vraiment !

Fantastische Unterkunft in der Natur

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderbar im grünen, sehr ruhig mit toller Terrasse und Ausblick in die Natur. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Bett im Spitzdach ist klasse. Ivan hat eine wunderschöne Bootstour mit uns gemacht und sich sehr viel Zeit genommen und sich um alles gekümmert, herzlichen Dank nochmal.
