Great place to stay off the hustle in Virpazar town

I felt very comfortable with this place throughout booking it until the checkout. Great communication, easy checkin-/out, great food and wine, and timely recommendation for a boat tour (I didn’t go to their private one but to a group tour in Virpazar)

Absolutely the best part of my entire trip

Everything about this property is fantastic. Felt like living with your own family. Their food, wine and cheese was one of the best I have ever tried. They are very friendly and full of warmth.

A warm, authentic stay with great homemade food and drinks.

The friendly family at Verzina Farm made us feel truly welcome, with a delicious homemade dinner, plenty of food, and excellent house Rakya and liqueurs.

Lovely stay

The stay was very pleasant, the room was tidy and the owners are very warm and helpful. There are a couple of dogs on the premises as well as farm animals. Highly recommend getting the breakfast here as well as a boat trip

A wonderful experience of true Montenegro...NOT to be missed!

We had dinner two nights and breakfast one morning. Both were absolutely wonderful! The homemade wine they offered was quite delicious. The boat trip was very, very nice.! The two daughters couldn't have been more helpful.

The rooms are pretty basic, so at first we were a little disappointed but it added to "being on the farm" so we embraced it eventually. The dogs could sometimes be noisy.

Beautiful agritourismo

This felt like staying with family. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. The vista from the room was stunning, the meals we added on were delicious. The family dogs were also very fun. The brother of this family has a vineyard next door called ‘Winery "Tradicija" ‘ - we highly recommend visiting for a meal, the wine and food is some of the best!

Relaxing, authentic and unique experience. Would highly recommend

Such a special and unique experience staying at Vrzina Farm House. The family are so friendly and kind. They were very welcoming and helpful with any questions i had. The food was locally sourced, home cooked, delicious and very generous portions. The fish soup was amazing and fish from the lake was tender and tasty. The breakfast donuts they best i’ve had in montenegro. Trying the families home made wine and liquors was also a treat. The farm house is located in a quiet and peaceful location. If i was a writer i would come here and stay for a few weeks.

Disappointing Experience – Uncomfortable and Unethical Feelings

We were disappointed with our stay. The children, some very young, appeared to manage nearly everything, while the adults were mostly passive. Several dogs were kept in small cages and cried constantly – one puppy in particular was heartbreaking to hear. The room was acceptable, though not spotless. Common areas were quite dirty. The property seems unfinished, with signs of long-abandoned renovation. The boat tour offered was well-presented, but overpriced compared to Virpazar. Sadly, we didn’t feel welcome or at ease. Also the term Lake House suggests that the house is by a lake but the lake is a few kilometers away.

This is a very nice family farm, great location of all green around and even a view of Skadar Lake. The family is very friendly, doing best for your comfort and helping for any need. Rooms are nice, dinner great.

The host family are wonderful people, friendly and helpful and they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time on their farm. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so patient and kind with our kids.

Very nice stay in local village near the lake

The host family were incredibly nice and helpful. We had their delicious dinner and breakfast, and we would recommend everyone to do the same!! You have to try the walnut liquor! The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved our stay here!

beautiful location and a lovely family. the food was excellent - we had breakfast (€7) and dinner (€15) each day of our stay. we also did their boat trip on the family’s boat which we loved. the whole experience was amazing- we definitely want to go back.

Everything was lovely ! - the room was modern, clean and spacious - the location: beauuutiful, views on the vineyar, very peaceful - the welcome: all the sisters were very welcoming and spoke great english ! was nice to chat and discover more about the region and the country - the food: we took our dinner there and it was delicious ! lots of food (including homemade vine)

An amazing stay with a lovely family with fantastic views and a brilliant breakfast.

It was in a beautiful setting with views of the lake, countryside and vineyards. The family were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had booked a wine tasting evening in the upper village so it was very convenient to stay there and walk to the wine tasting. We were offered the opportunity to have dinner and breakfast. We had a lovely breakfast on the terrace next to the vines, such a beautiful setting. Many thanks to Ana and her mother for organising breakfast at short notice so we could leave early for a boat trip. We wish we had stayed for another night and would have loved to have had dinner there. Such a lovely experience. Thank you! If we came back to Montenegro we would definitely stay again.

Our stay there (8 days) was unforgetable, amazing, extra and super, super, super!

Beautiful views, boat trip on Shkadar Lake and Moraca River on owner's boat (I took many nice photos there), extremely nice meals (for example "priganice"), nice room with balcony, peace and quiet. And the most important thing - owners family - always smiled and very helpful. We really feel like home :-)

Such a beautiful property with clean, spacious bedrooms. Everyone in the family is extremely friendly and accommodating, plus the food (both breakfast and dinner) was delicious! We also took up the offer to do a private boat tour on Skadar Lake which was amazing! Highly recommend - go here on your next trip to Skadar Lake!

The farm is run by a lovely family that produce several of the products they offer for supper and breakfast. They have their own boat and took us for a tour( they offer several options price varies according to the hours). The farm has nice views over the farm vineyard and you can see as well a bit of the lake. The room has a terrace and was very comfortable ( air acconditioning, confy beds, nice bathroom). The food was delicious!! The place was tidy and clean. And the tour on the boat was just wonderful! They told us a lot of things about the history of the area. Highly recommended place! The road to get there is also very nice! ( Narrow but wonderful).

Great hosts that provide a lot of helpful information, magnificent service, amazing lake trips, very tasty food as well as VERY fine wine & spirits. We haven't been hosted by a nicer family, that is going out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. I recommend you stay there if you are in the area!!!You won't regret it.
