All good! Hard to find a better place I think

Everything was totally awesome. The house, the location, the host. We highly recommend it

We ran out of hot shower water in the evening , so we had to shower in the morning . The shower is basically “on top of the toilet” and right next to the sink . So the whole bathroom was wet after showering. A shower cabin or a Better shower curtain would be a very nice addition !

Cosy house, but could use n3w mattresses in the kids room.

Very nice and cosy place, good value for the price. Hosts are very nice and friendly. Queen qize bed was good.

According to my kids, twin size beds mattresses in their room were very uncomfortable. Very limited kitchenware, so difficult to cook an actual dinner. Hawling dogs in the neighbourhood kept us awake for a good part of the night.

If you enjoy having your sleep completely ruined by idiotic dogs you will love 'Wood House'

The wood house seems to be recently built. It is a beautiful structure. It is VERY clean. The owners are friendly and I think were honestly very sorry I had such a bad night.

About 25 meters away from the guesthouse is a kennel with at least two large dogs. I asked when we arrived about their loud barking which began as soon as we got out of the car. I was told it would be "no problem". But at 0330 in the middle of a beautiful quiet night it was a problem with VERY loud howling/barking. My sleep was completely ruined after that. One other thing: There are two rooms. One has a large bed and one has two single beds. My friend chose the room with the big bed. She reported it was fine. The mattresses in the room I had were genuinely bad. I could feel the springs pushing into me no matter which way I turned. I actually never had a bed that poor on my recent trip to Egypt and I don't stay in fancy places. They really need to move those dogs far from the guesthouse and replace those beds.

Really lovely little house in the owner's garden. Everything was really cosy and quiet. We had a really nice montenegrin dinner prepared by the owners and brought in the wood house, everything was delicious. This was the best night we spent in Montenegro, if you plan to stay in Virpazar, stay there !

The hosts were incredibly friendly and showed us around their property. The dinner we got was delicious and breakfast was just as good. The house was tidy and clean and very cosy. We would definitely stay here again. Also pack a warm pyjama when you are staying in early Fall. The night cools down the air immensely.

Very good!

The family was extremely friendly and we felt very welcome. We’ve met Alexander and he recommended us a hike, which was very nice. Natascha made us dinner for just 10€ per person and it was delicious (also a lot of food)! We also had some of their homemade wine, which was very good.

Home away from home

The hosts are very friendly, you immediately feel welcome. The wood house is clean and well equiped. The location is beautiful, next to the vineyards. Definitely recommend to have dinner, the food is authentic and delicious. The hosts also arranged a private boat tour on the lake that we also recommend. Come here if you want to feel part of a Montenegrin family :)

Pure nature with amazing hosts

The Wood House is a cosy accommodation in the middle of vineyards. We absolutely loved our stay. Our hosts were amazing, served homemade dinner and breakfast. We felt like being at home. On our departure day we asked to fill up our windshield water and our hosts cleaned the whole car. How amazing is that!?! And we received a bottle of their own red wine as a gift. I can't describe the amazing hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying there.

Superb

The host family is very welcoming. We loved the traditional dinner they offered. Local family wine was amazing too! Overall cozy little house and breathtaking mountains around.

Everything was great, only missed a couple of basic stuff like cooking pans/salt etc. Also it's a little dark in the kitchen (only one lamp in the room).

Amazing stay at this gorgeous unique wooden house. I was worried at first that it would be cold but I was wrong with two heating units its super warm and cozy. I love all of the cool touches like the barrel table and the family made us feel very welcome and even gave us a bottle of their homemade wine and a taste of their brandy. We stayed longer than planned and would 100% stay again, we can see why the reviews are so high.

On ne comprend pas trop quand on réserve "wood house" qu'il s'agit d'appartement à côté de la wood house. Ce n'est pas grave mais on a perdu du temps à comprendre les histoire d'escaliers niveau 0 ou niveau 1

Sentirse como en casa, con una cena excepcional!

La casa es preciosa, pero lo que nos gustó más, es que te ofrecen una cena excelente, muy casera con productos de su huerto. El desayuno tambien muy abundante y bueno. Te hacen sentir como en casa, vives en el interior de su terreno, donde viven ellos y son muy amables, te dan la bienvenida como si fueras de la familia.

En la foto de booking se ve la casa aislada y ahora han construido una casa de huéspedes al lado, creo que se deberían actualizar las fotos para tener las mismas expectativas.

Die Besitzer sind super freundlich, die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und wir sind sehr runter gekommen. Wir haben eine Flasche Wein und unfassbar leckeren Kuchen geschenkt bekommen. Der Aufenthalt hier ist wirklich nur zu empfehlen!!

מקום מקסים, בית עץ בין הכרמים והגידולים של המשפחה, נותן חוויה אמיתית של האזור. המארחים מקסימים ביותר! לקחו אותנו לסיבוב בשטח שלהם, ראינו את הסוסים, הכנת היין הביתית וקטפנו פלפלים. הביאו לנו שתייה קרה ויין מעשה ידיהם. הבקתה נעימה ונוחה. מקום מיוחד!

Gastfreundschaft in der Natur

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Nächte im neuen Apartment neben dem "Wood House" verbracht und wären ehrlich gern noch länger geblieben. Die Einrichtung ist komplett hochwertig und neu. Durch die Rollos im Schlafzimmer konnten wir mühelos ausschlafen. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen tollen Blick in die Berge. Wir haben es sehr genossen, nicht direkt im Zentrum von Virpazar sein zu müssen, sondern stattdessen die Ruhe und Natur genießen zu können. Ganz besonders möchte ich die Gastfreundschaft der Familie hervorheben. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft gab es Limonade und eine Flasche des hausgemachten Rotweins (so lecker - wir haben gleich zwei für daheim gekauft). Am nächsten Tag gab es sogar zwei frisch gebackene Stücken Apfelkuchen. Einfach eine 10/10 Erfahrung.

Für uns hat es gepasst

Die Unterkunft liegt etwa 3 km außerhalb von Virpazar, was für uns super war! Ein kleiner Bauernhof mit super lieben und hilfsbereiten Menschen. Leider konnten wir uns, mangels Sprachkenntniss, nicht gut unterhalten. Aber die Mama des Hofs ist super lieb!!! Das Essen am Abend ist sehr zu empfehlen! Haben dort jeden Tag gegessen!

Rustig verblijf tussen de locals.

Rustige locatie, appartement was grotendeels schoon, vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen. Ze nodigden ons uit om een avond locaal voor ons te koken, we hadden alleen wat laat geluncht dus hadden we besloten de uitnodiging af te slaan. Parkeren kan gewoon op het erf en ons hondje was ook welkom.

In de douche waren heel veel rioolvliegjes. Nu maakten wij er verder niks van, maar het ziet er niet heel hygiënisch uit zo in de badkamer.

Endroit parfait pour partir à la découverte de Skadar

Maison en bois très propre, et climatisé ! parfaitement adapté à notre séjour- nous y sommes restés 2 nuits. Les hôtes sont adorables, avec des enfants qui sont tout aussi accueillant. Natacha, l’hôte, nous a cuisiné un délicieux repas le 1er soir, avec les bons légumes du jardin. Point fort: la proximité (3km) de virpazar et donc le départ pour les ballades en bateaux pour découvrir le lac Skadar.
