Lovely apartment

The hosts were so welcoming and made our stay amazing. We had a lovely home cooked meal on the first night of our stay downstairs. The host arranged a private boat tour for us of Lake Skadar which was great. We also used the jacuzzi and sauna which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Amazing stay!

Lovely room and great location. Spa was super fun. Room contained a small kitchenette which was useable (though 5 there was limited crockery). Hosts were lovely

Local culture and hospitality at its best !

Wonderful place to stay ! Super clean and well equipped. Sava and his parents were the best hosts. Sava organized a private boat tour for us to visit Kom Monastery and to see the lake . Dinner and breakfast were out of this world! Sava’s mom is the best cook in Montenegro. All vegetables and fish is local! Wonderful stay!!!

Highly recommended.

Exceptional about this property is the warm welcome and help on every turn. The mother prepares breakfast as for kings and queens. Truly one of the best breakfasts ever. We will most likely return just to partake of her cooking again. The son was very helpful with suggestions and ideas about our active holidays. We rented a bike and kayak from him and he was very accommodating with the change of our plans. We really enjoyed our time with this family and at this location. The apartment is about 15 min walk away from the city center. A nice walk to and from the business of the center.

Lovely pool and super cute kitten (buy him snacks and he’ll love you)

Overall a pretty solid stay. The bed was really comfy and the pool was the perfect temperature with an incredible view – definitely a highlight. There’s also a lovely outdoor chill area that’s great for relaxing. If you’re staying here, PLEASE look out for the small kitten that hangs around outside. He’s completely on his own and relies entirely on guests to feed him. We seriously considered taking him to a shelter in Kotor because he’s always hungry and not doing well. To help him, you can easily grab some cat food from the convenience store 2 minutes away - he really needs it 🙏❤️

There’s a kitchen available, though it’s a bit limited in utensils. The Wi-Fi was quite slow, so keep that in mind. Location-wise, it’s a little out of the way but still manageable. The hot tubs weren’t operating during our stay – we assume they’re only used in winter, but would’ve been nice to know that in advance. Also, the rooms aren’t cleaned or made up during your stay, which was a bit unexpected. Dinner is available but quite overpriced at €20, so we’d recommend eating elsewhere.

Authentic regional cooking and bighearted hospitality.

Staying here feels like stepping into a friends country home with direct access to outstanding local wine. Real magic happens at the table. We were served by a lady who makes the best fish soup in Virpazar, better than in Pelican restaurant. Portions off food were generous and delicous. The local winery is a lazy two minutes walk.

We definitely come back again!

We liked everything! Family that owns apartments is incredibly hospitable and friendly. Food in the tavern downstairs is perfect! We had a very nice view at the mountains. The room was clean and cosy, there was everything needed inside. Also there was a possibility to chill in sauna and hot tubs

A lovely place to stay for visiting Lake Skadar with fantastic hosts

Clean, good aircon, comfy beds. Super helpful and friendly hosts. Lovely touches like welcoming us with cold drinks, making us pancakes on our last morning. We went on a boat tour organised by our host which was wonderful! Nice quiet location a bit away from the hubbub of Virpazar but within striking distance of all the activities. Excellent bird life (especially the swallows) visible from the balcony. We had a really lovely meal in the family restaurant on our first night; delicious food, big servings, and again a lovely family atmosphere.

Sova and his family were super nice. Location is great. Rooms top notch. Dinner and breakfast which is cooked by Sova's mother was made with love. Best food we had in Montenegro. There is also a good selection of local wines for dinner.

I would highly recommend to anyone and will be returning when I can.

The property was ideally located in a quite village, set amongst beautiful vineyards and with the mountains in the background. You are within two minutes of a amazing winery and can easily walk to lake Skadar within 5/10 minutes via a footpath. The apartment is spacious, providing all amenities you could ask for. The hosts are amazing and super friendly, they were always on hand to answer any questions and were so sweet. I would highly recommend having breakfast or dinner there, where you will be treated to amazing home cooked food.

We had a great stay. We were welcomed with coffee and delicious watermelon. The room was clean and quiet. The stuff was super nice and helpful. The manager even was parking my car for me. Not everyone speaks English, but we still managed to communicate, and it gives more countryside vibe I recommend this place 100%

Modern tasteful room in a peaceful, stunning setting

Lovely, modern, clean room with an amazing view from the small balcony. Plus a lovely shared terrace with lovely view. Could leave luggage after check out. 3 mins walk from train station, handy if no car, near a popular small winery. 15 min walk to town, to avoid the dangerous main road you go over thetrain track down a rough path. There was a few lights in the ground but we ate early and walked back before dark. Nice peaceful neighbourhood.

Nice apartment and super hospitable hosts

The apartment is nice and clean with all required facilities. The outside terrace offers an amazing mounting view. The host is super friendly and helpful, he organized a nice boat tour on Lake Skadar for us. I highly recommend having a dinner and breakfast in their small family restaurant - it is a delicious home food cooked by the host’s mother. In fact it was so much that we couldn’t even finish all food. The host and his parents are super hospitable and nice and offered a lot of attention and sweet treats to our young daughter. We were even gifted a bottle of wine upon our departure.

Apartment in nice, spacious, clean, has everything needed. Lady welcomed us with home made cake and mint juice, a really nice gesture! Location is good for visiting the Skadar lake, would recommend staying here.

The only downside of the stay was the communication with husband of a lovely lady; it was complicated and unpleasant in some moments. However, if that is eliminated, I would highly recommend this place!

Quite and comfy

Quite and private apartment with a common terrace. We felt very comfortable here. We were also offered figs from the local garden which were simply delicious :)

Nice stay in Virpazar

Really nice place to stay and lovely hosts! The studio was really comfortable, we felt like home. We also decided to go for a 1.30h boat tour that was really nice.

The road to go to the small town might be a bit dangerous with the cars but it seems like they are building a new one so it will be perfect!

Proper Virpazar experience

If you'd like a lesson in hospitality then come here. We couldn't have felt more welcome. We would usually eat away from our accommodation but we decided to eat in the place and are so glad we did. Food was delicious and it was a proper Montenegro family experience. Beds comfy, boat trip great, breakfast delicious and the family so unbelievably nice!! One of the lovely son's was our main contact who ensured we were completely comfortable. Highly recommended to stay!

most sincere accommodation

Super cool host - organised a lot for us. Room was top notch, terrace and fig tree included. Located 10 walking minutes from the main town, our host gave us bicycles to get around and explore the surroundings. The whole accommodation is run as a family business and you feel welcomed right from the first moment. Would definitely come again.

Wonderful host and wonderful apartment.

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He offered complimentary drinks throughout our stay and organised a wonderful private cruise on the river. The apartments were 1km from the centre of town (there is a path to walk off the main road but we were driven free of charge whenever we needed!). The room was spacious and well equipped with a pleasant view of the mountains and local village life. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing place to relax and feel at home

Room is absolutely beautiful. Air condition works perfectly. own patio, where you can relax. also small balcony with the view to the train station so if traveling without car it is easy to get to Bar and Podgorica. Lots of wineries close by. walking distance from Virpazar center. The hosting family is really lovely, they also run boat service so you can get everything you need from them. Really helpful and lovely people. I will definitely try to come there again.
