Great value for money

Very clean and comfortable. Nice balcony overlooking the street. Host was very nice and quick at responding to messages.

It was quite loud at night (dogs barking outside, someone using a leaf blower late at night and early morning) so didn’t sleep very well.

Perfect for a relaxing few days

The location was excellent. The family who run the properly were lovely and incredibly helpful. We were provided with a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. Overall an excellent stay and made for a very relaxing couple of days.

Balcony Overlooking Village

Nice large and clean room with small balcony overlooking the small village; a large selection of nice restaurants in walking distance; gorgeous surroundings along roads to/from Virpazar

Excellent value, clean and comfortable room opposite the lake

Very close to the lake, excellent value for money with good, clean and comfortable facilities. There was a communal kitchen with coffee making facilities which we didn’t use but it was a nice touch as not everywhere provides these. The owner was super helpful and you can organise a tour direct with them which we did and had a great time. There’s a restaurant down stairs which was convenient for breakfast and there’s a small shop in the village for supplies. At night time it was peaceful and the AC was very much appreciated as it was hot whilst we were there

Nothing major, you’ll need cash but there are plenty of ATMs in the village, parking is chaotic during the day but the owner was fab at sorting us out somewhere to park. The curtains are quite light so eye masks may be needed by some people to get a decent nights sleep.

Very friendly host. Situated in an everyone knows everyone type of small beautiful village. Friendly people all around. House was good and well worth the money. Beautiful place to walk around.

Stay here and take one of their boat trips on the lake for a good time

We loved the family who run this apartment and the apartment is well designed and spotlessly clean. Take a boat trip with them and you’ll have a great trip.

Beautiful lakeside hotel, run by nice family

Very nice room with balcony and free parking; gave us a free bottle of wine as well! Wonderful hosts who made instant reservations for us on their boats to explore the lake Friendly and entertaining guide on the lake who spoke perfect English

Very comfortable place. Good location in Virpazar. Kitchen is shared and well equipped. Hosts were super helpful and responsive as well!

Strange smell in bathroom, think this may be a common Montenegrin plumbing issue.

From first contact to the owners spotting us as we arrived in the village square and every way they helped us, the staff (a family) were lovely. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a little balcony overlooking the river and square. They were able to pair us up with another two guests for a fantastic boat trip on the lake. It was great.

Brilliant location and amazing hosts

The location is excellent, it’s kind of like a little town/resort where there’s a few restaurants and lots of boat cruise stalls around. It’s right next to the lake so very convenient and the host was super helpful, helping us book a private boat ride and kayaking. The host went above and beyond for also organising transport for us. extremely happy customer!

Very nice appartment in Virpazar in front of the market and the tour boat departure. Don’t hesitate to discover the Skadar Lake with Milica the host, you can have a discount !

It is very hard to park the car during the day in all the city of Virpazar. Once the tourist are gone, you can find a place easily.

Amazing stay in Virpazar/Lake Skadar

Don’t even hesitate if you are thinking in visiting Virpazar/Lake Skadar. Just come and stay in Vida’s House! For all the reasons. Because Virpazar is an enchanting small village. Because kayaking in Lake Skadar is worth a relaxing day, but also because the apartments are very well appointed and located. Lastly, but not the least, the hosts. For those who love to travel they are a strong part of the equation: Jelena and her daughters Ksenija and Milica, are super hosts. They help you with all info, they provide renting of good quality kayaks and, most of all, they talk to you and make you feel close to Montenegro. We even had the chance to be there on a national commemorative day, with the President of the Republic of Montenegro attracting a patriotic crowd and understanding a little bit more of the country’s political reality. Great stay! Thank you Jelena, Ksenija and Milica. All the best for you.

Fabulous stay in the heart of nature.

Attentive and very friendly hosts. They did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. They even upgraded the apartment to give and additional bedroom at no extra cost. My wife had a desire to drink pure fresh milk which was thoughtfully delivered to us the day after.

The stairs were steeper than we had anticipated but nothing major once we got our cases into the room.
