Peaceful Easy to find Dinner was good with home cooked food Pool area was nice

Dog was loose and was jumping on us when we arrived - we are not dog lovers and did not appreciate that Apartment was very basic with no cooking facility and no curtains Although dinner was nice, it was not worth €20 pp

Great place with very friendly hosts. The sausage supper meal was excellent. Included fresh vegetables from the garden, including homemade juice or wine. The room was nice, clean, with a refrigerator and a kettle. The pool area is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Great area to relax, read, as well as swim. Wish I could have stayed more than one day. Will put back on my return plans to Montenegro.

Exceptional

Where do I start? Excellent stay from start to finish. Mladen and family were great from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for them. The area is stunning and perfect if you like something away from the masses as we do. The boat trip they offer is an absolute must if you have a couple of hours spare. The pool was absolutely perfect and spotlessly clean, very well maintained. The room was perfectly adequate and again, very clean. The food was also excellent. We went for the home made sausages and I think they were the best sausages I’ve ever eaten. The sausage omelette for breakfast was just as good. Lastly, their beautiful dog, Aaron, was a big softy and waiting outside our room for us in the morning. We toured 17 countries over 24 days and this was easily our best stay.

Nice host and food but disappointing room

Kind host and quit setting Very nice food!

A couple of things: - two holes in the ceiling from approximately 15 by 30 cm - no wifi in the room, we had to go outside to have connection - the walls are like paper. If you have a snoring neighbour (like we did) you won’t get much sleep - there were still food remains in the sink of previous visitors - ants on the kitchennette and only four glasses, nothing more like plates or something. Only a fridge and a sink. - smelly bathroom - no tv

warm and welcoming, wonderful stay

Mladen’s place is very warm and welcoming, very family friendly the location is a bit far off, but gives you magnificent views while driving in return, peace and quiet are all around ;) we stayed for 1 night with 2 kids in a family room, which was perfect, we enjoyed especially having airco, being a warm summer night, the beds are comfy the pool is incredible, pretty big and in a beautiful garden, we spent a lovely afternoon we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast a lot, simple but fresh and delicious. this goes overall for rustic village, don’t expect grand luxury, just simple and decent in a familiar atmosphere, with wonderful hosts, truly “rustic”.

for us this was a perfect stay, maybe some nice sun loungers and a few more parasols by the pool would give an extra golden touch

Friendly host, hospitality, friendly dog, location, pool, domestic food, excellent domestic vine. River tour was memorable.

It is rustic village so the accomodation is according to that which is as expected and you got all the necessary stuff with no luxury like in the old days but some fine tuning is always possible like water pressure in the bathroom and other small obstacles that can be easily fixed.

I enjoyed a lovely evening at Rustic Village after a hard day's cycling. The family here were really kind and made me feel so welcome, including the lovely American Akita! The room was clean and comfortable and I slept very well. I'd recommend this place to anyone travelling through the area, especially cyclists on the EV8.

-The room was very humid, the bedsheet was wet probably it was long time ago that no one used it. -The room is quite small for two persons -The bathroom is very cold and need a heater inside

Nice place, surrounded by fruit trees and flowers. Quiet village, really old house with a history (and with hot water, wc and airconditioner working fine), room was ok. And a swimming pool, but it was closed in october. But the greatest thing is the owner Mladen, who cooked us marvellous dinner and breakfast (twice) and took us on a boat trip by the lake on his own boat. And also gave good home wine :) I do recommend ordering 'local food dinner' and going to the lake, there are a lot of birds there.

Everything was great. A bit cold on october (we had do use aircond) but warm blankets were provided The room was called 'appartments' but it was just a room (no mini-kitchen or so, but not that we needed that - the dinner cooked by owner was GREAT)

Wonderful stay and delicious food

Room has everything you need and the pool outside is brand new. There is also a lovely terrasse where you can enjoy drinks and the lovely food of the owner’s mother. Would highly recommend

Mladan and his family are great hosts. Their hospitality, surrounding environment, great food outweigh by far any little issue that a visitor might have. Pool in hot summer is the cherry on top of it all. Don't wait, go there, enjoy it!

Dont hésitate!! Location is awesone (landscape, property with pool, nice gardent, beautiful room) Dîner was Amazing, everything local, absolutely delicious and plenty of food. Our Host was an awesome person, funny, nice and full of great advices. Always checking if you feel perfect. I just regret i cannot stay longer because of my planning. Definitely i will Come back!

Fantastic people in a fantastic surrounding

We loved everything Mama Mladan, Mladan, Bogdan and Aaron, the food the drinks, the pool and especially the boat tour on the lake. Amazing experience in this wildlife park, stunningly beautiful, wild pelicans and great explanations from Mladan. We felt in love in only 2 days and had a hard time leaving. If you get a chance to visit grab it with both hands, you won’t be sorry. We will come back very soon, big hugs guys A&N

A great stay with a great host!

Mladen, the owner, is the best host in Monténégro and one of the best I met anywhere in the world. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he even prepared a Christmas Christmas dinner for free for us. If you want to experience Montenegrin hospitality, comme to the Rustic Village ! The room was spacious and comfortable, internet is provided and Mladen is constantly improving the facilities ( there's a large heated pool if you come in summer).

everything was fine but you need to adjust your expectations : this is a country house in the mountains, not a luxury hotel in a city.
