Cosy cottage in great location

Comfortable small cottage accommodation in beautiful quiet location. Great communication and service from host Milan. Lovely cheese pie delivered Day 1 and good contacts for boat cruise. Highly recommended

Best thing was the quick, excellent communication with Milan. He not only gave us recommendations and info from the day we booked until the day we arrived. He even sent us photos for excursions and booked a perfect sunset boat cruise for us. Possibly the best communication with any host ever. Thanks Milan for taking care of us and making sure we have everything we needed or wanted! Isolated quiet location. Away from noise. Wonderful sounds of nature.

The road was a bit tricky but after driving in Montenegro, no big deal. It actually turned into a great part of the stay, once we learned from the host there’s an alternative route which isn’t on Google because it goes through a river that’s impassable during the rainy season. Totally cool!!!

A family of four had a lovely stay at this quiet cottage in beautiful surroundings.

We are a family of four and we loved our time in the cottage. It is modern and well-equipped in a quiet location away from the bustle of Virpazar (about a 25 minute walk or a 5 minute drive) with spacious parking at the front. Our host Milan was great with communication and very helpful. He arranged a boat trip to the village of Karuc (his brother was our captain for the day) and we really enjoyed the trip and the food and a swim in the lake. We also took some walks along the quiet road and little river (the Camp River Cafe is less than ten minutes for a drink and a snack). One tip - Google maps does not show that the road goes all the way to the Kalamper petrol station on the M2, but it does.

Only very minor point is that the bathroom is quite small and a larger person might find it difficult to manoeuvre.

Cosy & clean cabin. Friendly host. Great boattrip.

Cosy and clean cabin. Nice and helpfull host. Very responsive communication. All what we need was available. We arrived on a really hot day, the cabin was cool. We walked to the natural ‘pool’, which is at ~1km (walking distance) from the cabin. Great place too go! We went on the private boattrip in the evening, organised via host. Relaxing and perfect way to explore lake. Most do!

Unforgettable Experience in Nature

Our 2-night stay at Orahovo Cottages was incredible. The cottage is nestled in nature—if you’re looking to truly experience the beauty of the outdoors, this is the perfect place. I also fell in love with Virpazar. The lake and birdlife were breathtaking, and the restaurants recommended by the host were fantastic. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!

Lovely cabin close to Lake Skadar

Really lovely cabin, just like the pictures, has everything you need and the A/C was a godsend! In a quiet location, only a 5 min drive or 20 min walk into Virpazar. The host Milan also has a boat and organised a trip on the lake, would highly recommend.

This was a really really lovely place to stay. Secluded with beautiful little gardens - makes it a lovely spot to eat your dinner outside. Only a 7 minute drive into town so easy to stock up on what you need food wise.

Fantastic wooden cottages!

Fabulous little wooden cottages, perfect for our group of 6 split into two. The AC was a lovely addition, and we really enjoyed the boat ride on the lake - definitely book the sunset cruise! Everything was clean and worked well, and it was so quiet. Superb stay!

Good set up. spacious enough. cute looking. Clean.

Electricity outage everyday. The day I arrived there was no electricity. I was told that an electric pole fell off and it was being replaced. Finally, in the evening electricity got restored. But for the remaining days, electricity wasn’t there all the time. It was on for a few hours and off for several hours. Whenever electricity goes, there is no more water for shower, toilet etc. and not possible to heat the place. if electricity is a regular issue in the area, I suggest that the owner invests in a generator. Generators are not very expensive nowadays.

Super cute and comfy cabin. A warm welcome from the host (written note on the fence) and the sweet cat who is very hungry. Warm, nice couch, kitchen and beds. Near the harbor of Virpazar where you can do the boat tour on the beautiful Skadar lake.

Mislead by the fabulous comments

It was good but not fabulous. Hosts were extremely friendly and nice. The cottage/chalet is nice but not exceptional.

The cottage was extremely hot when we arrived and the AC was not suffisant to cool it down. No hot water for shower. Close to the road, no view and need to take the car to go to Virpazar.

Perfect place

How well was taken care of the place and the surrounding. The owner was really kind and helpful and would answer us really quick on the phone. Even tho we didn't have internet connection in the Montenegro to arrange the arrival we didn't have any trouble to enter the house.

Maybe the toilet was a bit small, but it's hard to think about something wrong in the place

Super nice cottage!

Perfect country side cottage, in nature and a few minutes away from Virpazar. Cottage owner offers as well boat trips for a good price and saves a lot of time in Virpazar. Our tip, go for an early morning boat trip (06:00) and enjoy the quiet lake for a couple of hours!

Super nettes Quartier bei schönem Wetter!!!

Die Hütten sind sehr lieb und sauber, es gab auch ein paar Kaffeekapseln - (Milch und Zucker jedoch nicht) - Kontakt mit Vermieter war sehr gut, ideales Quartier um die Gegend zu erkunden.

Wir hatten leider sehr schlechtes Wetter bei der Anreise - die Straße zur Hütte war eine Challenge. Und da es stürmte, was dort häufig vorkommt , konnten wir in der 1. Nacht kaum schlafen weil die Wände so dünn sind und man jeden Windstoß extrem hört - auch die Vorhänge haben gewackelt weil es reinzog. Aber die Heizung hat gut funktioniert!

Orahovo cottage, superleuk huisje.

Superleuk schattig rustig gelegen, schoon huisje. Genieten.Weg uitrijden en je zit in Virpazar, voor heerlijk eten,aanbevolen door Milan bij Boat restaurant Silistra. En bij het huisje een fles wijn gekregen. Maak een boottocht op het meer, geweldig.

Douche ruimte met toilet beetje klein, maar is te doen.

Petite maison très agréable et bien située.

Chalet très bien situé, agréable, confortable. Hôte très réactif, flexible sur les horaires et qui nous a donné de très bons conseils de centres d'intérêt : restaurant, plage, formidable excursion sur le lac.

Chalet superbe, avec tous les équipements. Personnel très accueillant. Proche du lac Skadar et nous a même proposé un trajet en bateau pour découvrir le lac. Je recommande.

Proximité de Virpazar pour accès simple et rapide au lac de Skadar et croisière. Endroit calme et paisible. Facilité d échanges avec notre hôte, très réactif.

Ideal pour un couple ou famille avec jeunes enfants mais juste pour 4 personnes Logement sombre, pas genant pour 1 ou 2 nuits.

Parenthèse enchantée

Nous avons tout aimé ! Emplacement a 5 min en voiture de virpazar. Endroit un peu retirer, au calme (Au milieu de la nature on entend les chèvres 🐐 ). Parenthèse enchantée. Correspond parfaitement aux photos. Chalet très propre et cocooning. Un vrai moment de bonheur en famille! Je recommande. Nous avons regretter de n' avoir pu rester qu'une nuit (road trip).

Leuke kleine, vrij basic cottage. Goede plek voor het ontdekken van het Skadar meer. Boottochtje aanrader, en organiseer de eigenaar ook. Heerlijk in het groen!

Vrij klein en basic, met name de badkamer, verwacht geen luxe maar daar is de prijs ook niet naar, dus prijs/ kwaliteit prima!
