A peaceful rural oasis with delicious honey!

It was wonderful staying here, a different experience like staying with a family. Such a warm welcome, different types of honey, the fabulous honey lemonade, which I will try & make myself, plus who knew with the power of google translate you could have such interesting chats! Tomatoes from the garden were delicious too. A calm and peaceful oasis. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. All the amenities and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony. This is perfect if you are travelling by train as it is almost opposite, just a short walk. An easy 15 minute walk into Virpazar and a really well stocked shop close by. Just to say you pay in cash so make sure you have enough, as the cash point in Virpazar often runs out for days!

Great hosts who have a real gem which has everything you need for a great stay at Lake Skadar

The property was very spacious with very good space all round , including the private lounge, and dining kitchen which was fully equipped. The host brought us pancakes one morning. But the highlight was the fantastic lemonade with the farms honey. It felt like we were getting a close up look at how the locals live. The lake is close and the train station is very accessible. We had the best welcome from these lovely hosts.

A quiet, friendly base for visiting Lake Skadar area.

Lovely, friendly hosts who invited us for honey tasting. Although they could not speak English, we were able to communicate via Google translate. The apartment was spacious and clean with all the facilities we needed for a couple of days and in a good location for visiting Lake Skadar National Park. You do need a car ,though, as it's a bit of a drive to nearest village along a busy road.

It was quite difficult to find the apartment when we arrived late at night - although this was partly our fault as we didn't have data for google maps and we couldn't find it on car's satnav.

We loved honey farm house! The apartment was lovely, had everything you could need! The hosts were very helpful and friendly. It is a short walk into town. Highly recommend!!

Cruising and canoeing. Wild swimming and relaxing. High quality locally produced food and drinks.

Really lovely warm hosts. Spacious, well kept and equipped contemporary upstairs appartment. Pleasant residential location with an interesting garden with bee hives and home grown fruit and vegetables. Enjoy the owners many different flavours of honey. Dramatic mountain views from the balcony seating area. Nearby the station, a primary school , and a small convenience store. Neighbours with an excellent winery which does tastings and meals. In Vipazar, the Pelican restaurant and the Old fort recommend for great meals with lots of regional specialities. Make sure you try the marinaded carp. Lake Skarda is exceptionally beautiful, a pristine natural park surrounded by huge dramatic mountains. The region is famous for it's traditional farming, fishing and growing practices and lovely weather for holidays. Recommend.

The "old road" footpath into town is being dug up to put cables in. Normally it would be an easy 10 minute walk into town. The main road is very busy and has no footpath. Meanwhile the lovely hosts will drive you into town if requested .

Exceptional

Very friendly hosts who fed us honey on arrival and helped us sort a hire car for our stay. Apartment was very clean and nice and cool to return to after hot days. Very quiet and next door to an excellent winery.

Not at all the problem with the hosts or property but to get into Virpizar you must walk along the road which can be quite busy and there is no pavement.

lovely spacious apartment in relaxing location.

lots of space, very comfortable. loved the terrace! also very close to a supermarket for snacks.

about a 15 minute walk out of the town. took us a while to find a safe route as it is down quite a busy road. there is a path across the train tracks which is fine but no lighting after dark so felt a bit unsafe.

Lovely apartment with the best hosts! Highly recommended!

Loved the apartment! It is super chick, very clean and perfectly equipped to stay some nights. Perfect place to rest and explore beautiful Lake Skadar by boat or car. The cherry on top are the hosts. Very warm and welcoming people. We had some good talks, yummi breaki and the homemade honey was a delight. Also got some local Info about good spots around the Lake and helped with organizing our boat Trip with a baby. Definitely recommend staying at the Honey Farm House!

Fabulous!

Everything was wonderful. The apartment is very spacious, absolutely spotless and really well equipped with everything you would need. We had an exceptional breakfast and the hosts treated us to a honey tasting. We were only flying out overnight so we were very graciously allowed us a very late check out time which was a great help to us. Please stay here while you are in Virpazar. You will see for yourself why they deserve a 9.9 review. Thank you!

Modern and confortable

It is a lovely apartment and very spacious. It is modern with all the amenities possible. The internet is working well. The family is really welcoming. We had a great time in Virpazar and really enjoyed the boat ride on the lake.

Unique place to stay; very welcoming hosts.

The hosts were so nice and it was such a unique experience to stay on the honey farm. The room was comfortable and quiet and breakfast was great. We were able to sample the different kinds of honey that they produce there. The farm is in a very convenient location, with a small market in walking distance and a short drive from the boat dock where there are restaurants and you can take a tour of Skadar Lake.

No complaints, everything was great.

Great place and awesome host

The apartment was very comfortable and very clean with all the things you could need being on holidays. 15 min walk to the centre of the city Virpazar to do nice boat trip on the lake. The host welcomed us with the breakfast with local specialties and honey tasting as they are one of the most famous honey producers in Montenegro. Great experience talking to their daughter about history of Montenegro and learning few things you won’t find in the Wikipedia. Great people and very quiet environment so you feel close to the nature and rally relaxed. Strongly recommend. And we will definitely come back there again doing. A longer boat trip.

Stayed two nights the couple who run this are the kindest nicest people ever , and there beautiful grandchildren made our stay special.The Aparment itself is clean modern and equipped with everything and more than you could wish for they organised a wonderful door to door pickup tour of Lake Skader for a very good price And gave us Honey from the farm as a leaving gift Super Super stay

Perfect 10 place!

The apartment is very big, clean, cozy and location is perfect for relaxing. Appartment is a place where you would like to stay and never leave! The host couple was amazing. They were very lovely older couple and communication with the help of google translator worked very well. They really helped us to get the best out of Virpazar and Podgorica. Their daughter helped us with e.g. transportation matters, which we really appriciated. Small pretty quiet trainstation of Virpazar is 100m away, easy to access, didn't make any noise. AND the honey we were priviledged to taste, was so pure and awesome!

Un super séjour

Nous avons eu un superbe accueil,des hôtes extrêmement gentils et aimant partager leur passion.Nous avons été accueillis avec de petites douceurs et du miel fait par le.proprietaire. C'est un très bel appartement,bien équipé,la literie est confortable. Il est situé à environ 10 min à pied du centre de Virprazar,en passant par un petit chemin de terre , ce qui est bien pratique. Les propriétaires nous ont aussi offert une citronnade et nous avons pu goûter leurs différents miels et avons pu échanger avec eux grâce à google traduction. Bref un très bon séjour,nous recommandons sans soucis.

Schöne Unterkunft mit zu schwacher Klimaanlage

Toll eingerichtet, super sauber, Nähe zu Skadar Lake, tolle Gastgeberin (machte uns leckere Krapfen mit eigenem Honig)

Die Klimaanlage ist einfach zu schwach und befindet sich in der Küche!!! Zum schlafen ist es unerträglich heiß im Hochsommer. Hier empfehlen wir 2 Ventilatoren zuzulegen. Während unseres Aufenthalts hat ein Mann 3-4 Stunden Baumstämme gesägt. Für unser Baby war das nicht auszuhalten
