Bad experience

Nothing, everything was girl le apart from the location. Moody place and very dangerous since there traffic and dealers of drogues. The host was not kind

For the price paid - incredibly disappointing

The bed was comfortable and the towels were ok

The location whist good and close to train is in a grungy part of Brussels and it didn’t feel safe at night - the bathroom was challenging- the placement of the sink made getting to toilet difficult - it was at the top of building and only stairs no lift - so getting suitcase up was really annoying- the apartment had no amenities eg tea or coffee and it looked like a half finished renovation. Look if you are young and in a group then could be ok - we went to a hotel after 1 night - just didn’t want to stay there for the whole weekend in Brussels.

Clean, large space, 4 mins walk from Midi station, kitchen very useful, host very quick to respond to questions

Shower flooded bathroom and kitchen when used, heating not strong enough (outside temp was 0-8 degrees C, inside temp 8-10C which wasn't warm enough for me, but host did provide another duvet when I asked which helped a lot), it would be great to have some more furniture in the space, for example bedside tables, large space with not much in it

Spacious apartment, with the bare minimum. Good for people who don’t want to spend any time in it and stay out sight see

Good space and comfortable bed

No lamps, no body soap, no toaster, tea or coffee. These little things make the stay more comfortable for international travelers who don’t live in the city and don’t know where to go for food or coffee. Also didn’t like how the place looks half renovated. Particularly the stairwell. Also, the fighting and carrying on by the Africans down below all day and night. Not the accomodations fault. Just makes people feel unsafe.

the accommodation door was very hard to open and close. my neighbours can hear me out, whenever i use it. cleaner reminded me that I needed to vacate, but I informed the host about my exit time. toilet amenities to be improved.

Big room and good location

Host said she sent me email for door codes day before check-in but it was not in email, Later I found it was in booking.com message. That confusion led us to wait a long time for check-in process and long talk over the phone after a long day trip. Room assigned was not cleaned. Had to request another room.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

The single positive was leaving this hell hole 20 minutes after we arrived. Never got a refund but don't really care, as we managed to escape without harm.

Where to start? We've stayed at some awful places on this site, but this is the only place we left after paying in full. The staircases are unfinished chipboard. There is no lift. Damp and mould throughout the apartment. Ceiling is bowing in places like it is about to collapse. Floors bounce and creak like they are moments away from collapsing. It's dank, dark, damp and badly, sadly broken. Stay away. We rebooked at the penta nearby which was not oy wonderful but also the same price. After the fact booking dot com said they don't recommend staying in an apartment on their site with reviews under 7. Didn't help us to know that after the fact, but hope it helps you to know in advance. Please avoid this place. As sleeping on the station floor would be safer and more comfortable.

the bed was very comfortable and it looked as in the pictures

the heating and ventilation were very noisy. I had to buy earplugs just to sleep. there was no soap, shampoo or toothpaste . Nor a broom or a mop in case anything happened. The shower curtain was at a weird angle so water would go out every time I had a shower.

Stay away

I was shocked when I entered the room, which was clearly unfit for accommodation. The air was damp, moldy and smoky. The room was cold, and some of the walls had mold on it. The whole apartment was run down, I was so disgusted I didn't even touch the bed. There were spiderwebs behind the bathroom door. The bathroom ceiling had a leak. There was a napkin?! stuffed into the bathroom door. The towels were stained. The window looked upon an exhaust vent of a nearby music bar. The security was provided with easily guessable pass codes (building and room), and a latch from inside the room. It didn't feel safe to leave my stuff in there. There was someone standing in the building's doorway multiple times I tried to enter. Taking all into account, I immediately decided to find an alternative accommodation and called customer service with my complaints. I didn't spend a single night (not a single hour) in the room. I am perplexed that something like this can happen in the European Union.

Overpriced room, with lack of facilities.

Convenient location for tram/train.

Very small, the kitchen & bedroom were in the same area. There were no bedside tables or even lamps, so either you have to sit in complete darkness or the bright light. The ceiling in the bathroom and kitchen are starting to fall through. There were also parts off the doors where there was paint missing, tissues used to stuff holes. There was also no shampoo/shower gel provided and only one big towel each and one hand towel as well.

Very negative experience. I would not recommend this place

No breakfast available. Unfortuntaley, I did not like anything. As said, I left after one night - had to stay 3 - because I was very disappointed. The only positive things were clean sheets and towels.

Everything: no answer when I called the host, no internet, very cold room, no heating in the bathroom, room stink of smoke, carpet not sufficiently clean.

The bed was comfortable. The room inside and the bathroom was clean.

The location was bad and it is not a good idea to walk around, especially at night. The entrance was narrow and dirty and there is no elevator but an old, wooden, narrow staircase and the walls around are fading. The room has an old wooden door that opens with code. The bathroom is too small, windows old with no security system, easy to break into from the next-door balcony, a lot of noise if you open the window and bad view. No soap or shampoo. Nothing like the pictures on Booking, bad price-value relationship.

The only advantage was that this accommodation was close to the train station where the bus from the airport dropped us off.

Very disappointing. There was no sink in the bathroom, we had to wash our hands and teeth in the kitchen. The bathroom was very small, full of flies. There were traces of moisture on the walls. Very old furniture, I'm surprised I had clean bedding. There was no television in the rooms. Also, not all sockets were fitted. The staircase of the block was very old and smelled bad. The entry code didn't always work. Very noisy area, it was opposite a bar.

The apartment they gave me was not the one I saw in the photos and the room was so humid. It was stinking and we did not appreciate the setup. I regret spending that much for what they gave us.

Good stay, very close to the station.

Very close to the station! (Station South/Midi) Not a lot of dirt, clear and timely instructions with regards to check-in. Clean and plenty towels. Front door was quite sturdy.

Doors to the individual appartments looked a bit less sturdy, and there was some wiggle room when locked. I didn't see any soap in the bathroom, which is certainly something I expect.

The apartment was clean but the shower was unusable.

The shower was such that when you turned it on for longer than a minute at a time it would overflow onto the floor, either due to not good draining or because it was tilted so that the water didn't even flow towards the drain. There were no extra towels anywhere to clean up any of the water with. We had to leave early because we could not stay somewhere where we could not shower.
