Everything about the apartment was great. Air conditioning was much appreciated and required for our toddler.
For a stop-over so we were near the Eurostar, this place was perfect. If we were staying for longer, we would not stop here as, like with most big cities, areas near train stations aren't very appealing. But, for context, we felt safe with our toddler.

Comfortable flat with lovely high ceilings. Very convenient location for Brussels Midi Station.
Surrounding area is scruffy and some of the furnishings are tired. For example, the curtain in the bedroom is loose and doesn’t close fully.
