Lovely room. Comfy bed. I would definitely stay again and planning my next stay at this hotel when im next visiting family in the area.

Morning breakfast was missing a few things attention to detail was missing. But felt staff where slightly relax and not to bothered about the small attention to detail. (Only during breakfast) customer service needs improving.

Lovely decorated room, nice and quiet in room 2. Great idea of a communal kitchen, everything you need.

Nice short stay, just what we needed, would stay again.

Center of Crediton near to local bars and restaurants. Parking available, nice room, comfortable and clean. Nice continental breakfast.

Nothing much not to like. Access to the rooms was via the side access, slippery steps.

Nice clean, modern room but road noise in room 1

The room was clean, modern and nice and warm. The breakfast area downstairs was being re-furbed, which I only found out about a few days before I arrived. To access the bedrooms, there is a side passage and up some stairs and two doors with combinations before you get to your room. The lady who showed me to my room was lovely and really helpful.

I stayed in room 1 and for me the road noise was quite a problem. I wasn’t aware before I came and should’ve bought earplugs.

A superb stay, and amazing breakfast.

A great atmosphere, rooms are amazing with plenty of space and were spotlessly clean. A snug with tea and proper coffee, comfy sofas for chilling. Off road parking for the bikes. Communication was clear and concise. Breakfast was delicious with fantastic coffee. Will definitely be coming back. Would also recommend the Three little pigs pub down the road for supper!

Stayed here before and will again. Given it's unstaffed, the place is immaculate and feels very comfortable, with good character. Facilities are also very good. Top rate.

Owners have no control over this, but for light sleepers the church bells are really loud and (on a Sunday morning) persistent. The ear plugs were a very thoughtful touch.

Very clean and comfortable. I liked the kitchen and sitting area where we could get a drink or prepare our own food. The continental breakfast was very good.

There was some noise from traffic and church clock, but it didn't bother us too much. Ear plugs were supplied!

Stay in church view room

Lovely lounge and a good selection of items for the continental breakfast. Nice ensuite. Comfortable bed. The church view room I booked for my parents was absolutely lovely.

Room 2 was small with a little shelf for items and some hangers on a rail. It had a velux which refused to open despite our best efforts. It was far too hot without any ventilation. There was a fan but it was just moving hot air about.

Loved it

Very clean and comfortable stay. Owner kindly let us park our bike in his garage, which we greatly appreciated. There was some road noise which we knew about. It did not detract from a great stay. Will be back

Lovely stay over

Coded access to the room. Very clean and cosy rooms. The bed was probably one of the comfiest we've slept in.

It was a very warm night,so had to have the window open,even though there is a fan in the room. It's on a main road,and also opposite a church where the bells chime every hour. This isn't a complaint though. Everything else makes up for it.

It was exceptionally clean and up-to-date. Easy to find and very tasteful in the seating and eating arrangements in the dining area. Interesting decor and I liked the music in the background. The lady that attended to us was just lovely and so helpful.

Unfortunately the water was cold but it was one of them things . I booked the room for my staff ( construction workers so they had no choice but to shower in cold water )

Room was comfortable and modern. Breakfast was good. Convenient location in the town.

The only slight negative is we stayed during the summer when it was particularly hot outside, and the room did get very hot. There was a fan but it didn't quite cut it.

An oasis after a hard day’s cycling!

Superb family run hotel with really thoughtful attention to detail. Room was comfortable and spotless. Common room with kitchen facilities, milk in fridge and biscuits was a bonus. Two wheel theme was right up my street. Continental breakfast was excellent, the egg boiler was foolproof! No hesitation in highly recommending.
