Room spacious - center of town.

Room held 3 beds (only paid for double as we were 2). The accommodation is above the pub, it was not a problem with noise and the same goes for road traffic. We would stay again. There's an overnight parking around the corner.

Breakfast not included, could have been an added bonus. We went elsewhere.

Great Location, (we were visiting for a party) and the room was in the centre of town...lovely hosts. wasn't a 'posh' stay but very homely with lots of nice touches, like biscuits, fresh milk (which is rare these days!) and a bottle of sparkling water in the fridge. Cute decor (pictures and the like) gave each room an individual feel.

Great value for money with a good “can do” attitude from the staff

Staff were exceptionally good - all of them! Room was perfectly adequate for a night’s stay. Good facilities in the room with nice large towels!

Nothing to really dislike - duvet was slightly too small for the size of the bed so my husband and I kept “pinching” it from each other!

Perfect t place to stay and see the sights of Tiverton and Exeter or even before Ten Tors as we did!

Really friendly staff - so helpful. Managed to park right outside. You can park for 45 mins max up to 6pm after which it’s free. So parking outside at 5:30 was perfect. We stayed in the longship room and it was very comfortable, clean and spacious with a large en-suite. Not noisy at all and managed to stumble on a karaoke evening downstairs which was great fun!

Hidden gem, nestled in the high street of crediton. One of those places you won't regret.

The location was right in the high street, staff were very helpful showed us to our rooms, even though we checked in late. Very accommodating on flowers as it was mine and my wife's anniversary. Room was spotless, towels and bedding were perfectly white. And there was tea, coffee and hot chocolate sachets ready. With milk and bottled water left in the fridge. Outside of the rooms where dvds and board games that could be used during the stay. Food and drinks prices were amazing, even though we didn't try any. WiFi was fast and easy to connect too. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in crediton, perfect location, perfect room and perfect staff.

Convenient location for our road trip across the UK. Bistro upstairs was decent. Check in & out was extremely flexible. Staff were friendly

Comfortable stay, at a reasonable cost, with very friendly and helpful staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were some very nice touches, such as bottled water and fresh milk in a fridge in the room to have with the good selection of teas and coffee. The meal I had in the restaurant was very good. Bed comfortable, and warm bedroom and bathroom.

It might have been better to have some thicker curtains in the bedroom.

Fantastic

I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who likes down to earth people. The staff should teach other establishments on how to treat there customers. The food is excellent and all home made. Even if you are not staying here, you should go along for the Sunday roast, but you will need to book a table as it is in high demand. They also do take aways.Finally l would like to thank everyone who l met whilst there. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT EXCELLENT. Thank you. Regards Keith.

Cheap hotel in the centre of Crediton near shops and restaurants

Good size room at the top of the hotel. Tea, coffee etc provided with fresh milk and little bottles of milk. Room fine - nicely self contained with en suite bathroom. Had to request log on to Private wifi and Ship Hotel wifi was asking for a Network code which apparently no longer works. - but i got wifi in the end which was all that mattered Bar is very much a sports bar rather than a place to sit and replace but it was fine and the jacket potato i had for lunch was really good.

Smell of fried food all the way up the stairwell. This did not transmit into the room though which was fine but as soon as you entered the stairwell it smelt really horrid. Could do with shutting the door to the kitchen/dining room and organising extraction elsewhere.
