I loved how clean and cosy the room was also lovely with the outdoor area. The owners were also very helpful giving me advice on buses and letting me check in a few hours early.

The location, though unremarkable in itself, was quite convenient for central Exeter (3 miles away) and very handy for Digby & Sowton station, where as an added bonus parking is free! The bed was comfortable, but awkward to get into for one of us, being against the wall. Nice to see a heater provided, not needed for our stay, but it could easily have been. Ditto the fan, although it did rather get in the way in a very cramped space. Very helpful that the room is all on the ground floor, even though the outside areas aren't on one level.
There was no hot water, and the layout of the bathroom was very awkward, The room was cramped and felt a bit dark to me, even with the light on.
