The room was very clean & tidy, booking in was good everything was explained in detail. The breakfast was good quality food, only fault was both our breakfast’s was not as hot as it should have been. Overall value for money.

Lovely area, nice bar. The hotel had everything needed. I parked in the public car park nearby without issues. The door to the bathroom would not stay shut, and our room was above the bar so it was noisy until it closed, it was a nice street and the hotel had character

Lovely inn, very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Ensuite was a little too cosy for our liking, but that was due to it being in the roof and limited space. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Would have been enhanced with a little fresh fruit available.

We stayed for one night on our way to the ferry in Plymouth. Our room was very comfortable. Communication after booking was excellent. The inn has a good menu served in the bar. Excellent value. All our food including breakfast was well cooked and tasty. I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended

This is a hidden gem. The staff were friendly, kind & helpful. My room was lovely with a nice bathroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food was really good quality and excellent value. I was a bit anxious as there is no on site parking but there was on street parking and a free car park for the village nearby. Amenities in the village were a Spar mini market and post office. I would definitely stay again.

Very cosy and very clean room. Had a wonderful evening meal, a very good night's sleep and a fantastic breakfast before the long journey home. Breakfast and dinner was very nice, just be aware breakfast is only between 8-10am. Staff were all very friendly and the pub had a nice local atmosphere in the evening. I was staying as my wife was in hospital so my criteria for finding a place to stay were cheap, available and close to the hospital, the Silverton Inn was all these so I booked it. I'm really glad I did, admittedly I wasn't really in the mood for socialising but if I was, there would have been ample opportunity but I was feeling pretty insular and that was ok too, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the place was easy to find, the rooms had everything you need. I ended up staying 2 nights so had to book again which meant I stayed in a different room each time and although the 1st one was perfectly fine, the next one was even better. Equally spotless, equally well equipped. Not high end luxury, but nice, clean and comfy. I ate in the Inn both evenings and the food was fab as was the limited but delicious breakfast. There were cereals on offer as well as the cooked options so you're unlikely to go hungry unless you're super fussy. I got the impression that if you had a request they would do their best to make it happen. Well thought out, well kept, well run, simple done right. If I need to stay in the area again I won't bother looking for anywhere else.

Simple done really well in terms of facilities, room/en-suite, and pub-like dining breakfast area etc. Warm greeting, good food and nice friendly service. Just couldn't be faulted ✔️
