No food area, it closed down.

Decent travelodge but a very old and tired place. Comfy bed but carpet dusty and dirty. Had a good nights sleep before taking on the rest of our journey down to Cornwall. Very nice and friendly staff.

I was visiting my son and his family in Exeter and found the accomodation very reasonably priced and comfortable. I was disappointed that the wifi was not free of charge. We also had to pay for breakfast and the full breakfast didn't include toast which I thought was a bit mean. Otherwise I would highly recommend Travelodge and the staff were excellent ☺

The only fly in the ointment with this place is the attached Harry Ramsden's. The food is very good but the staff are not, especially the male supervisor/manager, who is the scruffiest most unhelpful person I have come across in a long time. Closes the only bar at 9.10 so that they can catch their buses home!

This hotel serves its purpose: offers a decent room so you can sleep reasonably well. The service was friendly. I would recommend it. Remember you are getting what you pay for. Don't expect a 5 star hotel here. If that's what you want you'll need to pay more somewhere else.

Our bedroom was of a good size, comfortable but not luxurious, it had telvision but no phone. It was quiet although near the M5 motorway and service facilities. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was not in the base price, but various types were available and had to be paid for separately.
